BlueStar Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Careful pasting fixture lists, a newcastle board I post on got royally screwed and shut down for a while because of members posting them because they're copyright and the Premier League were on the warpath.
conzer16 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Kudos for the League One fixtures... Edit: Nice to see Big Sam is heading back to Bolton on the first day :p
flameboy Posted June 14, 2007 Author Posted June 14, 2007 i can't believe you were the first one in How'd you mean... Careful pasting fixture lists, a newcastle board I post on got royally screwed and shut down for a while because of members posting them because they're copyright and the Premier League were on the warpath. Sure they won't be looking as far flung as a Nintendo fans site!
Ant-Shimmin Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Liverpool face Sat Mar 22 Manchester United (away) Sat Mar 29 Everton (home) Sat Apr 5 Arsenal (away) All within that time, Jaysus
mike-zim Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Sorry i mean that people on the 06/07 thread were saying they all wanted to start the 07/08 thread and you got in there. Basically well done.
BlueStar Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Our January (and the last game of december) is utterly rotten. Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal, all away, all within on month, plus Bolton and Everton at home.
Dog-amoto Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Couldn't have wished for a better opening fixture! Was just talking about how I hoped it would be Newcastle at home on the first day. Let's hope we can welcome Big Sam back with a good hiding!!
BlueStar Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Looks like Ben Haim is going to join Steve Sidwell on the bench at Chelsea. Says it's not for money, but for footballing reasons due to the draw of the champions league. Sorry like, but I doubt he's gonna be starting many champions league games unless there's serious injury problems involving Terry, Carvalho and (potentially) Alex.

EDIT: Awful first weeks for pompey, play all of the top 4: August 11 Derby (A) 14 Man Utd (H) 18 Bolton (H) 25 Chelsea (A) September 1 Arsenal (A) 15 Liverpool (H) But then again last season we drew twice with Arsenal, drew and beat Liverpool and beat Man Utd so we could pick up something especially from the home matches.
flameboy Posted June 14, 2007 Author Posted June 14, 2007 Pompey on there day, can beat anybody at Fratton Park tis true...will be a sad day when we leave frogmore road...

conzer16 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Anyone recognise any of these teams Sat Aug 11 Tranmere Rovers A W/C Aug 13 Macclesfield A (Carling Cup 1) Sat Aug 18 Southend United H Sat Aug 25 Nottingham Forest A Sat Sep 1 Luton Town H Not too bad for the first few games for Leeds, including our first ever appearance in the first round of the Carling Cup Funny how we're playing 2 of the others relegated with us in the first few weeks, including meeting our former manager at Luton. Tis strange how there is always a nice juicy fixture somewhere for someone! (á la Bolton/Newcastle!) Also anyone recognise that name Nottingham Forest? Hell, tis a looooong time since I saw them play! Former European Champions! Twice I believe :p 'tis gonna be a strange season! I haven't a clue about any of the teams in League 1 except the ones we were relegated with! Now where's that map of the UK...I think I know where Yeovil is, but where the bloody hell is Oldham??
Eddage Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 I think I know where Yeovil is, but where the bloody hell is Oldham?? It may just be me being retarded by why don't those fixtures on the Sky Sports website have a Yeovil Town vs. Leeds United fixture at Huish Park (Yeovil's ground)? I've found the match at Elland Road which is on October 6th but there doesn't seem to be a return match?! I would probably go see the game if I knew when it was!

conzer16 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 You serious? I wouldn't be as well up on the geography of England as you would be Fields. Platty Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Man United have an alright fixture list for once! But of course that usually changes due to cup competitions etc. Im very much looking forward to: Sat, 1st H Sunderland Fergie vs Keano
conzer16 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 I'm pretty well up on the geography of Ireland. Fair Play to ya.
