Happenstance Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Anyone watching this on Channel 4 at the moment? Pretty good so far, some good clips of shows and adverts id forgotten and also Pegg and Frost are pretty funny chatting in it.

Shorty Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 I caught most of this, it was a good show that went through a lot of classics, but I'm starting to see that as a duo, they're not that funny with unscripted, unpracticed, spontaneous humour. I doubt they would do very good standup. They write great stuff, no doubt - but a lot of their jokes felt awkward and at the level of laughs I would have with a couple of my friends sitting around the lounge watching TV. It was a good show, and followed by a double bill of Spaced, how could you go wrong? But as presenters I don't think they're at their strongest.
Rummy Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 I watched it, I liked it, I agree a bit with Shorty up there. Having said that, they weren't the worst presenting duo ever, and some of it did have me quite amused, and it was followed by double Spaced.
