Gaijin von Snikbah Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 The newest Opera is available for download, and with it comes a interesting feature called Speed Dial. Everytime you open Opera or a new tab, you are presented with something looking like the Wii Menu where you can easily click on a big picture of your favourite webpages. Download Opera Video of Speed Dial I wonder where they got that idea from...
Shorty Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 I wonder where they got that idea from...Hmm, kinda looks the same as the favourites section of their Wii Browser.
AeroScap Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Hmm, kinda looks the same as the favourites section of their Wii Browser. I LOVE speed dial! Must have taken some clever minds to come up with that! It's so simple yet useful!

Charlie Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Wow, I didn't think Opera could get much better. Speed dial is great, even if it is just a glorified favourites. Shame I only visit about 5 websites so can't put 4 numbers to use. Opera really is miles ahead of every other browser, it's by far the most complete. It comes with everything built-in already unlike Firefox where you have to install a plugin to do almost anything. Is the "block content" thing new in Opera 9.2? I don't remember seeing it before although I think my previous version was just Opera 9...
AshMat Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Oo, sounds good, seing as i'm an Opera user. Downloading.. EDIT: This is quite a cool feature actually.

Marshmellow Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Just another awesome reason to stay with opera! I'm loving speed dial!
Calza Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Just wondering, to open a tab in Opera can you use the scroll wheel button?

Gaijin von Snikbah Posted April 13, 2007 Author Posted April 13, 2007 i find opera takes to long to launch You must have a old version, or a slow computer.
Calza Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 I've been with Firefox for ages but i'm downloading Opera right now. I think I tried it ages ago when it still has ads but I'm not sure. Edit : I'm sticking with teh fox.
