Ashley
Hey. For a presentation for work I need to do all kinds of shizzle and it would be awesome if I could get some vector art of a 'broken' PS3 to then print and put on a t-shirt (long story). So can anyone make me something that looks like the header for this site: http://www.smashmyps3.com/ Obviously just a PS3 with a chunk missing, not an actual representation of what a faulty PS3 would look like. Obviously I'm going to be putting it on a t-shirt as I said, to promote our extended warranty stuff. Can give you a little copywrite thing if you want. Need it done by no later than Wednesday really, as obviously the PS3 is out Friday (and im at work all day Thursday). Muchos thanks

Letty
Can we see Letty's version at all? Just interested to see what it looks like really. I would show you, but I saved it as a .ai, and have no idea how to open them without adobe illustrator (I did it in macromedia flash 8 btw)
Jasper
I would show you, but I saved it as a .ai, and have no idea how to open them without adobe illustrator (I did it in macromedia flash 8 btw) Yeah that's a problem. Here's a tip: don't do vector art with Flash, but use a program like illustrator or Freehand for it - it's really great software and it's meant to make vector arts possible. You can use both of those to get a decent pdf-file or even JPEG's out of it. Those are tips for the next time. And here's another tip: Limewire. HYelpfulll for programs (and if you think it's too slow to download with, just search for limewire pro using limewire free and install pro -it'll be fast as ass). I could have saved it as a jpeg or otherwise, I was just reading about vector files beforehand, and saw that .ai was a valid one! And flash is great
Jasper
Heh, its not that. I could have saved it as a jpeg or otherwise, I was just reading about vector files beforehand, and saw that .ai was a valid one! And flash is great Flash if great.. for making animations, that is. You don't use Paint as your Photoshop do you? Yes, Flash can take care of some basic vector-art rendering, but it's not really so much a vector-drawing program. That's why Macromedia (ah, back in the days) included Freehand in their entire packages. AI is a viable vector-file, but pdf is a wide-spread file. Or SVG would be very usefull (and if you, windows-users, can't read it standard, download Adobe SVG Viewer from their labs website labs.adobe.com). There you go: all the explaination of vector art programs done here. Use Illustrator 'preferablyà for your vector art: it's so much moreuseable for that purpose than Flash. Jasper
You spelt my name wrong. Now that you mention it, yes, I do look like a fooll at the moment. Ah well, life goes on. But I'm not editing your name - because it a subliminal message. Or something.
Ashley
Heres what Letty made me (sans the logo at the bottom which says "If your warranty's extended your console gets mended", which does not have that big a border, just seems to have added itself when I saved it. Odd). Anyway; Now the next thing, anyone want to make similar ones for DS, 360, PS2 and PSP pretty please? Even if different people do it thats fine, I don't expect anyone to make all. I need them for a presentation I have to do on the 26th, but obviously the sooner the better. Much thanks
