Hellfire Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 What about Super Mario Galaxy? I'm expecting that in 2008.
Owen Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 I'm expecting that in 2008. Same here! Metroid and Smash Bros have taken Marios Q4 2007 release.
Tellyn Posted March 8, 2007 Author Posted March 8, 2007 Updated first post with spoiler tags containing the screens.
DCK Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 What about Super Mario Galaxy? It seems to me that the stock/share issue is restraining Nintendo from presenting their big titles. Except Phantom Hourglass and Pokemon (no Wii titles) all of these titles aren't 100% killer apps. Mario Galaxy, Brawl, or MP3 attention would mean Nintendo's value would rise and they'd be in trouble. Screenies look really good though, all of them.
Anakenobi Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Well, the whole stocks argument is valid, however maybe it's just about not making the mistake Nintendo made with GCN. In the sense that Ninty want's to "spread out" the good games and not have any of those long periods where there are no good games available. So it makes sense to push back some games to a 2008 release. However, not having a Super Mario to play on a new big N console... is kinda weird. But then again, that Super Paper Mario game looks pretty good. Retro-ish.
Kurtle Squad Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 I've not seen bottom screen Pokepics before...Looks weird with a big fight button..
That Guy Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Super Paper Mario looks cool, I'm probably gonna get it.
Zechs Merquise Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Super Paper Mario looks great, and the brain training game will cement the Wii as the must have home console in Japan.
DCK Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Super Paper Mario looks great, and the brain training game will cement the Wii as the must have home console in Japan.I hope so. I'm not too sure that something tried before on DS (a handheld) would be quite as succesful on the Wii.
