  1. And for what exactly should I search on ebay?
  2. Does anybody know if Bubble Bobble will see the light on the VC too?
  3. Has someone already informed Datel about this? So that there maybe be a v1.0F ? Ups... Thought I read that it works with that game from him...
  4. There you have it: Your 2 JPN Games are not working but the two USA Games are working Could be coincidence though but still...
  5. What's the differnece btw. moded one and swapdisk-version? But no answer to the question from where to get those? EDIT: "Tales of" Games didn't get released in Europe, did they?
  6. One question: From where do I get cheap PS2s with the possiblity to play EU- and US-Games? Therefore one with modchip is needed, isn't it?
  7. Well: Do forsee something is a bit more problematic than find out what the reason is One question: This mentioned problem: Does it also exist for Baten Kaitos Origins (US Version)? Could be wrong: But the only titles that didn't work for you were Japanese ones but US ones worked fine so far?
  8. Not completely true: Normally you can only return the game if it is extremely buggy or something like this (won't start because of bug or whatever). If you mean the possibility to return something in 2 weeks or 1 week (or whatever timespan it is in your country) without any reason: That only fits for software/games if you have not opened the envelope or broken the seal (XBox360 games) yet... after you bought it
  9. Update Freeloader is easy: How the hell do you thing is Nintendo updating the firmware? Exactly, over the internet.... If you store the Freeloader on the internal Wii-Memory as Wii-Channel or something you could easily update it OR if that is not possible you could say that the disk itself would always load some certain memory part from the Wii (where update information is stored) or... There are lots of ways the could do this... Don't underestimate software engineering possibilites... The question is just if they WILL make it updateable... But as you said probably Nintendo won't stop the Freeloader and also after all at the beginning they didn't even wanted to provide region-lock (maybe they did because of Datel? - conspirciy theory ... oh )
  10. I now also got my Freeloader from Datel - bought from codunkies.com) and it is v1.0E and it starts without any troubles in my Wii (even with latest Firmware v2.1E)... Although I wasn't able to play a US/JP-Game yet because I don't have one (I just ordered one). Originally I wanted to buy the Freeloader for Gamecube earlier with some games but then I thought if it won't work with the Wii it could get a bit annoying so I waited for a version that works on the Wii too...
  11. Not if the Freeloader is updateable too... If they do it correctly... e.g. A Wii Channel which you need to update before the firmware update so it stays there or something like this... A Freeloader which is not updateable would of course make not much sense but an updateable one and you could get it working also over firmwareupdates... One other thing: Who knows if the could even stop the Freeloader from loading through Firmware-Update (depends on how much they can change the firmware really through updates)... One more thing: You don't need to update the firmware... So if you don't update it you probably won't run into troubles at all... But if the freeloader is updateable too it would be the best...
  12. What about Super Mario Bros. 2 ? I would say that one will be next and before Super Mario Bros. 3 Would make more sense
  13. @Meik: RGB cables and component cable costs the same so why should you get a RGB cable instead of a component cable? Of course if your TV is not EDTV/HDTV it probably has no component input that's another thing...
  14. Well.. Yes hoping for Freeloader for Wii to come before the game is good but it doesn't mean that the Freeloader for Wii really will be out until then... And especially the question is what Datel will do against the problem with possible Freeloader Blacklisting through Firmware Update a.s.o.
  15. Yeah ... I know... It would just be nice... But so far as I know Japan and US get more titles per week... But OK: This week were 2 great titles so... If next time will come out ALttP and Super Mario World or MK64 and OoT I think it would be OK again... And of course the following the other two titles... Or maybe they would do it different, maybe ALttP and OoT and Super Mario World and MK64 another time... EDIT: But if I see it positively: Australia and New Zealand has even less VC games than Europe currently...
  16. Only problem is just that there is no freeloader for Wii Games yet... So...
  17. Does your little birdie work for NoE or something like this? If so, you could let him know that they should start releasing more games per week because otherwise the Wii's Successor will be there before we have all interesting titles released on VC...
  18. I am also interested in this one and Super Mario World... Of course, MK64 would be great too (OoT I have already through Bonus Disc - even Master Quest and MM - other bonus disc - I have that way)... But I am also interestd in Games like Lufia and Final Fantasy...
  19. Is there anything new about this game?
  20. Well: Because of difficulty... I already thought of that it could be great if first play Zelda the normal way and then you can do it again but in Hardcore mode, much more difficult, maybe even more or different puzzles... Something like OoT: Master Quest... @Jasper: Of course you can: The question is just if it would be a really fair comparison... It is just a bit like the first part of a movie is normally always the best because you have much higher expectations for a second or third or ... part... And I don't mean that puzzles a.s.o. shouldn't be different (they should not just be copies but be different) but I meant with 3D you have different options for puzzles and therefore making it not that fair comparing a game where you know some things can't be in and you have some kind lower expectations with a game you know those things can be in but even more and you have much higher expectations.
  21. Then lets say you differenet possibilities... Top-View Block Puzzles... There you have it also: Just copies from older Zeldas more or less... You can compare them. It is always possible but still they are too different to really compare them... If it would be a RTS game I would say you can compare them without troubles because after all gameplay still is nearly the same BUT we are talking of an adventure game... Here I think the thing looks a bit different... And even if: Only ALttP would be worth getting into the list with 3D Zeldas (as point 5 in my list).
  22. @The-chosen-one: Well, who said you should or need to buy WiiPoints as long there are no games you want to buy?
  23. Well... But with adding the 3rd dimensions puzzles a.s.o. have much more possiblities a.s.o. I also don't think they can be compared truely fairly. Of course, you can compare them, but probably not fairly... After all: e.g. If Twilight Princess would not have been 3D you would not have awaited such puzzles a.s.o. but different kind of puzzles... You are missing the third dimension that's it... But also I don't think I really can compare OoT to other Zelda games (after all OoT was the first Zelda game I played - didn't bought Zelda for SNES) and had a damn hard time that time (I was younger so it was harder and also I was not used to that kind of games)... But if you ask me: Twilight Princess it the best one (at least from the 3D Zeldas). OK: At the end it was a bit rushed (so it could have been even better) but after all the story and gameplay I found had been the best so far... Especially the story was really good and especially much better integrated into the game experience then before (not only because of Midna but also because of her)... And also with the Wii you really had a nice controlling scheme (although I think it could be even better - maybe for the real Wii Zelda) Wind-Waker was a great game too, if the Triforce collection thing wouldn't have been at the end... That part was just annoying... Also: I think the 3D Zeldas are all better then the 2D counter parts because especially the 3rd dimension adds more possibilites to puzzles a.s.o. If you would compare them, as I already said if you ask me: you can't do that fairly... So my order would probably be: 1.) Twilight Princess 2.) OoT (you know my first Zelda game after all) 3.) I believe MM (but not sure if I didn't like TWW more but if I don't remember probably not ) 4.) TWW (because of the Triforce collection journey at the end) P.S.: Does anybody know why http://www.thehylia.com is not working currently (17th January 2007 00:49am)? EDIT: Added some things...
  24. Well you right... But I meant that the story should play in Hyrule (and their parallel universes) and not a completely different parallel universe (and that ones parallel universe) like in MM...
  25. With main story line I just mean it should play in Hyrule and no parallel universe... there doesn't even need to be Ganondorf or whoever in it (except maybe Zelda: I mean a Zelda game without Zelda in it is a bit strange to me after all; that game is called Zelda after all)... I said if it would be like Majoras Mask but with more dungeons it surely could be nice... And I only more or less "asked" if it was really that a great idea with the 3 day circle... As far as I know there are many persons who don't like that (at least I understand a bit but I for myself have nothing against the 3 day circle)...
