What are the odds of an uncensored version coming out? The MPAA allows rereleases with more (explicit) content under the same rating, don't they? Don't know how this would translate to the gaming industry though, seeing as we don't have "theatrical" releases.

Old? Yesterday's news, if you ask me You might've mixed it up with the news report that there was a light saber game headed for the Wii from a while back. Said game was later on confirmed as Lego Star Wars. Good to hear that they have other aces up their sleeves

I'd have an original story over a film-tie-in any day The GTA III's were fun (III was sweet, Vice City was still cool, but San Andreas was waaaaaaaaaay to hip-hoppedy to my tastings) and The Godfather felt like a rip-off from the beginning. I mean, damn! Mafia had better graphics than that ffs! Didn't play it on the Wii yet though, but feeling hesitant to do so, as I hated the way they did the voice acting on the pc version...

Wii isn't all about minigames The people who generalize the Wii are quite possibly the same ones saying it's got only childish games on it. Pfeh. Oh, and he didn't say it were only those mini-gamesgames he enjoyed, now did he? :p

Jesus Christ... Everybody complaining about too few good titles charming the Wii... What the hell's the matter with you people? It's the bloody console's first year in the business, there's never been this much mainstream attention for a Ninty console since Nintendo owned the stream, and now that they're climbing back out of that dark hole of, let's face it, second and first party bliss, people are still complaining? People of whom I'd have thought to have more maturity than that, even. Damn dudes Even still, even if it were so that Nintendo didn't release quality titles on a regular basis, don't you lot have real lives to tend to? Women? Men? Social interactivity? Jobs? I currently have four games on my Wii: Zelda, R:RR, Wii Sports and Rampage. And I haven't finished any one of them, nor have I tired from them. It's times like these I get why certain gamers only let themselves play an hour or two a day: calculated joy due to the fear of having no passtime at all. Pardon for this totally off-topic rant, and apologies offered if needed. Why don't we open a subforum for topics like this?

Ye're right about the console ports part, I'll give you that Sure, the game had some glitches, but the production values were amazing (Django Reinhardt, great score, awesome voice-acting), and the graphics were cleaner and crisper than that other free roam game, GTA.

Way ahead of you dude But seeing as the Wii has a larger and broader demographic than the PS3, wouldn't it be mere logic to release the game on the leading console, as it would guarantee them more income? Surely the effort and cost of downscaling the game to the Wii would be more than compensated by the surplus in profit when compared to the PS3 version.

Greetings y'all! As some of you miight have heard, the sequel to The Best Sandbox Game Of All Time, Mafia, was shown at Leipzig recently. Now, I'm beginning to wonder how Illusion Softworks' stance towards Nintendo's Wii is. Seeing as so many projects get moved/copied to this gen's sales monster, how would you estimate the possibilities of seeing Mafia II on Wii?
