Sorry 'bout that Phube, it's just that the internet if oftentimes more of a birthplace for sarcasm that for genuine, well-intended statements Nice graphs Pedro, thought you actually made those for a moment - 'til I saw the hotlink to gamasutra.
-
Doesn't it? The older a console is, the more games its owners will have. Quality games-argument may be valid as of now, but it would be only fair to say that after its first year, the 360 was crap compared to the Wii.
-
Because it's the elder console.
-
Nobody that has played here has ever encountered that problem. I may be reaching here, and I'm basing this on absolutely nothing, but could it be that you hold the nunchuk in a way that cuts off blood supply to certain parts of your hand, thus creating cramps?

Freakin' sweet... Saw the gameplay reel of this at Flanders Game Expo, and even though it was for PC/360/PS3, and even if they cut back on the graphic department, the core feel of this game seemed awesome... http://kotaku.com/gaming/game-announcements/ps2-and-wii-get-alone-in-the-dark-322004.php

Apparently the Wii-version is mono... http://kotaku.com/gaming/dolby-blues/ghiii-wii-only-offers-mono-sound-321590.php

Wondering the same thing!

Damn, this game just keeps on gaining critical momentum... PS: Aalborg should've won last night, in all fairness (even though I'm a moderate Anderlecht-supporter :p)

So is it as relaxing as I read somewhere on the net?
-
... asses will be kicked and names will be taken? Ubisoft should consider releasing their "mature" games on Wii. FarCry 2, Assassin's Creed, Haze, etc.
-
Now now, even though you both give valid arguments, I wouldn't see why SMG wouldn't be a great game saleswise. This game is the first genuine must own game on the wii (or so it would seem), so it's guaranteed sales as long as the Wii's alive and kicking. Besides, saying the game flopped or something like that in this early stage of its lifecycle is just stupid. There have to have been killer apps in the past where sales picked up after release?
-
Dudes... the game was released Thursday. 250k in the first week's not all that bad.
-
So is this game worth purchasing without having played its two predecessors? Ima achin' to do some shootin' on my Wii, and I'm hoping this will cater to my needs.
-
Sweet. There's a tiger cat in the top right corner of the first pic. Must own game.
-
That, and Matt's impression that the game delivers "too much of the same without being revolutionary when compared to the original." Seeing as I've never played the original (because it lacked multiplayer), this is looking to be one hell of a high-value purchase ^^ As always, though, I hate it when reviewers pick on shortcomings instead of praise inclusions. For instance, here, the fact that the game includes multiplayer AND online, is overlooked because the campaign isn't online co-op. Suck my balls. Be happy.

You got me there man, just delivered the juice, didn't know the source (as I said).
-
Including the Les Paul? More on topic, apparently all versions are lacking offline co-op, a bug that's already been fixed on the 360. PS3 and Wii are left in the dark, as of now... Source is a belgian site which fails to mention its source... http://www.9lives.be/gamenieuws/101427/guitar-hero-iii-patch-vandaag-verkrijgbaar-x360

7.7 on ign Note: as far as I could tell, it's reviewed by a PS2-dude. I don't want them comparing it to the first one, as that's irrelevant to the present (other console, other company). Brief take from Matt Casamasmamamina. http://wii.ign.com/articles/831/831257p1.html I'll still be getting it. Feeling a bit gutted tbh; I know reviews shouldn't matter, but I'd had hoped for more critical acclaim...

8.6 on ign http://wii.ign.com/articles/831/831151p1.html 8.0 on gamespot (but can't be bothered to link to it right now :p)

Anyone gave this a shot yet?

Holy fucking shit indeed. What's next, them including special suits for real life brawling?

Jezus tittifucking Christ. You've all gone and made a mess out of this thread. I for one enjoyed reading Teppo's comments, and have no shame in saying that I regret him leaving. Suggestion to the mods: create a seperate board for any topic that can (and, as shown here, will) lead into massive off-topic slander of console entertainment companies. Same goes for threads created solely for whining about how good/bad any console is. I'd like more news, and less sensation. For effin's sake, we're all gamers here, why can' we all just... get along?

Very nicely said Zechs. There's no harm in trying to change people's opinions, if done in a two-sided discussion, where each party is open to the other. Fact of the matter is, as soon as that condition isn't fulfilled, we're no longer having a discussion or a conversation, but two people monologuing, with everybody else listening except for the two actually involved.

The tilt sensitivity seems to be an issue in most places as well, but no review that I've read seems to mention that you can fully adjust it to your liking (or so I've read).

Good! Your first sentence predicted a severe slapping though, but nice twist!
