There's another rumour they are in talks with Sky to distribute the XB to Sky subscribers for what might be a monthly fee instead of an outright payment. From what little research I've done, Sky boxes would appear to be compatible with the Xbone's HDMI-HCH requirement.

Has no one mentioned the production issues? Apparently MS has severely gimped the hardware again. There's issues with eSRAM and the GPU needs to be underclocked leaving the PS4's now around x2 more powerful. Apparently quite a major boob up that's too late to remedy. Confirmed by various sources all with the same information. MS will not talk about the GPU at E3 now and will instead take Nintendo's lead in, not, talking, about.. .. it!

That one year loss must have been a shock though, I'm sure they'll be thinking long and hard about that. They were back in the black this year with 7 billion yen. It seems that only green textures look a bit flat; grass, moss etc. Most of the others look decent. It looks as dreamy and imaginative as always. Can't wait.

I heard there was an on-stage demo of Splinter Cell at the Comic Con MCM Expo in London so did a search on YT and found it! Apparently it's a build from January and there is a newer one with new additions, but, this shows some new features. They're half an hour each and I haven't watched them so I don't know if there's any spoilers. Watch part 1 - Watch part 2 -

Umm, could be wrong but that looks like a place-holder gfx. Doesn't seem to follow Nintendo's recent covers in quality when you look at Pikmin, W101, G&Wario & Luigi U covers.

So MS has come out and said the Xbone is 10x as powerful as the 360, but, with clould based calculations, it's 40x as such. I nearly wet myself laughing. I still haven't got over the 200Gb/s bandwidth statement yet. Unbelievable tall tails coming from them. They're fudging any figure they than think of. One thing about the cloud thing though is it might sould quite alluring to joe public and help them paper over questioning the whole always online thing. Scary how MS are trying to steer the entire industry down their and EA's path.

Have you seen EA's latest comments on why the new Ignite engine isn't going to PC? Because even the most current high end PCs are at least a full generation behind the Xclone and PS4. Commence mind implosion.

There's absolutely no screen tearing anywhere in the game which were seen in the early build demos. Graphically and tech wise, it's a mixed bag, but the game is so wonderful you see past them. You even see glimpses of 'next-gen' in some parts when DoF and motion blur engage. Then there's an impressive draw distance. And something else that stands out over previous-gen is the image quality of the colour range. You see colours in transitions you never seen on the ps360. The game is just about putting you in a good mood and a smile on your face and load times or anything else have no effect on that.
