This is why I disagree with people saying Xbox 360 is the same experience as the previous gen but in HD.

I don't think it's crap, to me it feels just like the excellent demo, but I've only played for about 30-45 mins. I think you should get it anyway to do some co-op with me anyway :p Excellent deal. I got Van Helsing and V For Vendetta which I actually think are quite good. The picture does look really good and I'm glad I can now watch hi-def films but I really don't get why anyone would spend £1000 for a player.

I've seen it on Gamespot and 1up now and I was just watching it for ages. Looks really cool, but uneventful.

Well, yeah, I wouldn't say Wii yet because I've ot seen enough of it, but Xbox 360 is the most fun I've with gaming, therefore I think I can judge it.

Haha, I did think about it... That's exactly what I keep telling myself, and next week is Sonic and the Secret Rings, then SSX Blur, then Virtua Tennis 3, and then I might try and finish some games or sell some, rather than pick one up play it for 30 mins and go on to the next one.

Are you saying PS3 online is good for free but if they charged like Live it wouldn't really be worth it? I don't mean that to sound like I'm slagging it off btw.

Agreed Stefkov, The Wii is made next gen by being new and exciting with it's potential use of the remote, Xbox 360 is made next gen by Live in my opinion. I'd be interested to see if PS3 can match the same level of integration for the online thing.

1) Xbox 360 - Weird as it sounds, and you'll probably be expecting me to say this about the Wii but, this console really got me back into gaming. I was getting bored of them, but the whole 360 experience (Online play, chatting with people, achievements, a select few XBLA games, some truely quality games, and just going on my Xbox at 2am and just having a look at what others are doing) to me makes it totally worth it. 2) Dreamcast - Still love my little 'not quite as white as it used to be' box. The Shenmue games are still my favourite ever, and I've still got to complete Jet Set Radio and Grandia II, and I still want to pick up Rayman 2 for it. Although with each console release the controller just looks worse and worse. It's actually bigger than the slimline PS2... 3) Nintendo DS - Wasn't sure whether to put GC or Wii here but thanks to Hotel Dusk and a couple of others I had to pick this.

I love it, and the way friends lists can be accessed from wherever, you can send messages and chat with people really easily, and jumping into games couldn't be simpler. They just need to make sure their consoles don't break down, so people don't leave them and buy a PS3...

Anyone played Solitaire with a 360 controller yet?

Lumines Plus is as good as Lumines Live and it's fairly cheap, and Okami looks really good so far. I really want to get a Ratchet and Clank game because I really liked playing one of them at a mates house ages a go. I'm also planning on getting Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, the God of War games and probably FFXII eventually. Not a massive ammount of games I'm going to get but I mainly bought this for a few classics I always wanted to play.

I love Pikmin. Have you played much of it yet? What do you reckon, better than the first? I think one is slightly better actually, but I would like to play through Pikmin 2 again.

This is why forums are always so annoying because differing opinions generally turn into arguing, when people get defensive when someone slags off something you like. Not saying people are wrong for saying what they say, it's just a natural part of discussion really. I love Ricky Gervais, I like The Office, Extras, I really like his stand up, and the podcasts are some of the funniest things I've heard (largely down to Karl Pilkington though). Basically, if you hate him, I don't give 2 fucks.
