I'm not saying OS X is better than anything else. I'm saying I prefer it to anything else. As for the patching thing, I asked once before but never got an answer, does Windows have something so I can set my computer to update on a certain date/time? Because this is something that botheres me, having auto updates come on every time I switch my computer on, and then it telling me I need to restart and coming up and reminding me every couple of minutes, while I'm trying to do something.

One thing that I find is that you're always telling people they're wrong for liking Macs. I remember once when you asked how many Mac users had actually used Windows in recent years, and I have to say have you actually used a Mac recently? A fair few Mac users have switched from Windows to Mac, so it's not like everyone said 'well, we're using the best but lets pay more for some worse'. You're argument appears to be the power of the hardware isn't worth the price, but to many people, they're willing to pay more because they prefer the OS. We don't all fall for what Apple tell us. I'm not saying you're wrong, as there is no right answer to the PC vs Mac debate. I know as some who is into games, you will obviously prefer PC (before taking you're Apple hatred into account). I don't really know what my point is, but all I'm saying is you appear to be just as unwilling to accept some people prefer Macs, as some Mac owners are to accepting some people prefer Windows. Erm... yeah.

Lol, true. You'd also expect the console to not sound like a jet engine. Still, even small business's have back up plans if things go tits up, so it's likely a company like Microsoft would have back ups of this stuff.

Yeah thats basically it. Obviously if you're not on Live and you get achievements and then your hard drive goes tits up you're back to what it says on Microsoft servers. And yes they'll have a back up, it's Microsoft, and so it'd be stupid for them not to do that. As for the other question, yeah I would have thought the memory card would have been more reliable.

My argument when people say the reason Macs don't have many virus's, is that with so many pretentious Mac owners, I'm more than certain there would be a ton of people making virus's just to piss off Mac users. For the record I'm a Mac owner. As for the whole Vista or XP decision, I would go for Vista, even though I've never used it, they would have gone backwards with an OS would they? Plus it looks nice and not like it's been designed by a 5 year old. It also finally has a calendar!

My download wont move... If I stop it and then click 'Download Again' it comes up further along as if it was downloading. WTF?

Holy tits, I just went to check my Halo 3 download status, and as it got to 67% I accidently knocked the guide button and it fucking stopped. Went onto it again and it said 'Download Again' and 0%. I almost cried. Luckily it went straight up to 66%. Hmm, it got stuck on 66% for about 10 minutes, stopped, and then when I restarted it, it was on 73%...

I'm downloading right now, so can't play tonight. Guessing everyone's playing tomorrow night? I'll be the drunk one :p

To those asking me to play Gears, I'd love to but I'm just about to eat a chinese. I may do later though, depends if I can be bothered. Can I assume everyone will be online this weekend playing Halo?

I can't be bothered tonight, need to shower and get lunch ready for work tomorrow, and I should really go to bed early. I might play tomorrow or Tuesday though before Halo on Wednesday.

Thing is, Xbox Live, to me, is a reason to own the console. And whenever this is brought up, people also point out swearing/annoying Americans/11 year olds. But the reason I really love Xbox Live is playing with everyone on here that I talk to every day. This is why I'm so desperate for the Wii to have that same 'connected' service. I wasn't a fan of Crackdown until me and Stefkov went through and played it in co-op. Now it wouldn't have been as good if I'd have gone on with some random guy and played through. Achievements are also one of the best inovations in a long time. I know some are stupid, but Crackdown really is twice the game for giving you tons of stuff to do for points.

Spurs finished 5th for the 2nd year running. I'm happy with that, same position as last year but 3 good cup runs as well makes a good year for Spurs.

Have you played Crackdown in co-op? And try playing soe online games with some friends. I've played with people on here and it's great. What exactly is on the Wii that makes you say this stuff?

After playing PGR3, Virtua Tennis 3, Crackdown, and Gears of War in the last week I can tell you that if you haven't found a fun game to play on XBOX 360 you're not looking properly. I'll also point you in the direction of Viva Pinata and Guitar Hero II while I'm at it. I love what nintendo are doing right now with Wii and DS, but I'd hate to see that replace hat we have in 360 and PS3. Also don't underestimate how much fun online play is.
