I finished the debt, but the last couple of caves are insane. I stormed through it until I tried the last couple of caves and the difficulty shoots up suddenly. Once I got the debt paid off I couldn't be bothered to carry on. Having played both I now actually think the original is a better game. Pikmin 2 has many plus points over the first but i think that the first was a nicer game to play.

It's going to be an amazing day when I get a Wii and Zelda.

How do you get master mode on Super Monkey Ball? I've completed Advanced and Beginner including extra stages, and I've completed expert, but do you have to get through expert and extra stages without out using a continue to get access to it? Or is it just expert, and then you use continues on the extra stages? Cheers.

Lol. Well I just got end credits on Pikmin 2, paid off the debt which is the objective in the game, but haven't gone through every cave. So would you say that's completed?

I think you've got it pretty spot on. From what we've seen of the online service it doesn't look good at all. It just about works on a handheld but homeconsole online gaming is way more advanced that this. Another slightly annoying thing is i wanted to play Banjo Kazooie and it doesn't look like it'll be on there now.

I've completed a few games recently, but I was just wondering what peoples thoughts are on this. What counts as 'finishing' a game? For instance, I finished Pikmin last week all 30 parts, so i know I finished that. But today I got the 10,000 debt paid off and got the end credits in Pikmin 2. So have i completed that? I couldn't be bothered to play the few remaining caves. What do you reckon?

I sang The Gift drunk lol. I love every song. Has there ever been an album where you've loved every song on it? There never has for me. I've liked every song on an album before but loved them? Nope. My favourite changes daily. Think Distraction is my favourite right now. What's also great is that I'm not listening to the same song over and over again and it boring me, because they're all great I can play a couple of them it one listening session. Blink 182 untitled album - I'm not a massive fan of Blink before they did this album. I love Violence, and Asthenia, All of This was pretty good as well with Robert Smith. Box Car Racer - Cat Like Thief is superbly written. We Don't Need to Whisper - Everyone listen to Start the Machine. Warning - I don't think this album was that popular was it? My favourite Greenday album this is.

My understanding was that we make our own face. I dunno, ain't really found out much about it.

Only read the first bit but you're right. I think each of Paul Wellers songs sound the same. But thats because i've only heard the songs rather than sat down and listened to them all the way through and concentrated on them. Essentially, its someone singing and playin the same instrument over and over for an album, so of course they will sound similar.

Too expensive for me, but even if I had the money I wouldn't simply because I don't want the consoles.

Spot on. Box Car Racer, Blink 182, and We Don't Need to Whisper are my favourite albums, guess what they all have in common. Screw anyone who slags him off, especially people who post in red ;-)

I've tried to play through them, but I just can't be bothered anymore. I've tried so hard to like it, but I just can't. I give up. I'm not sure why i don't like Prime but i keep starting over and over again, and it just feels like such a chore, i feel like i'm forcing myself to play it because it's seen as a classic rather than me actually enjoying hte experience. So sod it. *Goes back to Pikmin in shame*

Don't point out the bad things about it. Get him to point out the GOOD things to you. See if he can really convince thats its worth it. If he can't say anything show him Gears of War and Zelda: TP. I do kind of agree. As much as I want to see PS3 fail, it's down to Sonys arrogance. As if we're not really worthy to own such a fine piece of kit, when really all it is is a a shiny PS2. There will be some games on it that will appeal to a lot of people, and personally I wont get a PS3 because the games on it don't interest me, niether does owning a Blu Ray player. I'd much rather an Xbox, but thats just my opinion. Thats why i just posted about getting him to point out what he thinks is good about PS3, because if he genuinely thinks there will be some great games available, rather than getting it cus 'Oh I'm cool I got £500 Playstation' then it is fanboyish to convince him otherwise. Bit of a ramble lol but still....

I also hate all these ridiculous new characters in each and every Sonic game. I long for a game where there's Sonic, Tails (but lost his voice...), Knuckles, and Robotnik (I'm not calling him Eggman...). *Dreams of Sonics better days*

Thats a really interesting point actually, and I hadn't actually thought about it like that. I get what you mean though, it seems like there isn't anything thats there for the species that once inhabited the environment. Like a half pipe thats only there so you can use the boost ball to get a missile upgrade. I'm playing through the 1st at the moment and I'll have a look for other points.

Totally agree with this post. I'm not saying it WILL be crap, just it looks it so far and I was really excited. If I ever get an Xbox360 I will check this game out but for now it doesn't look too hopeful. I'm more hopeful of Wildfire because its NOT like the other Sonic games. That may also turn out to be crap. Who knows? Yeah, but thats only because GC/PS2 graphics were a bit step up from the mess that was PSone/N64 graphics. How do you get much better? Bigger worlds and more characters on screen. I think the graphics in this look really nice. I bet on my HDTV they would look amazing. Lets hope this is a step up from SA2. I'm still just worried about how much of the game is really Sonic. I liked Sonics levels in SA2 but the rest were so dull/annoying that it ruined it. You never know this could be ok. *Prays*

I like your optimism, lol, tell me how hopeful you are in 5 years. I will still pray for the game but now I just don't get my hopes up. If it ever gets announced I'm not sure what I will do. I think I may get so excited that i may DIE :-|

£150 is a good price I think. Not too cheap so people are put off but not too expensive that people can't afford it.

I played Lylat Wars on my friends brothers N64 years ago and really liked it, so hopefully this will be like that. And I just realised I can buy Lylat Wars on VC! Yay.
