GAME sent my Switch order by RM 48 tracked. Arrived 5 days after launch. Will never use them again.

Managed to get a preorder in with Smyths for collection on release day.

Yeah, I got it finally along with the pups stage, was tough but rewarding I thoughtlt.....in the end. Never played much of Yoshi games since the N64 but really liking it.

I'm not usually one for platformers but I'm finding this tough enough at times trying to 100% it. That Go Go Yoshi stage was infuriating.

I agree to an extent. Nintendo underwhelm...fact but at the same time the gaming community have unrealistic and idealist ideas of the way things should be.

^^^ well said. I think we all need to calm down a touch and remember this is just the beginning of the service. It will improve with experience and jumping on the gaming hysteria bandwagon does nothing to help.

In 3 weeks time this will have all settled down and we can get on with playing games and not having panic attacks about scenarios like: "a tank ran over my Switch but I didn't renew my subscription because my electricity went off because I forgot to pay it so my WiFi didn't work and i lost my 2 year old saves for games I don't play anymore and..."

I'm going to keep this on ice for a while I think. Put in about 170hrs first time round so happy to keep this for when I get another RPG urge. Spending way too much time on Oculus Go at the moment.

I don't see the issue with any of it. It's cheap, you get some free games and most games have cloud backup. Far too many moaning, priveledged princesses around. Far more important things in life than an 18month old Zelda save you'll barely use again.

For some strange reason I got to level 12 in Bomb Chicken and it started to make me feel ill, sort of strange motion sickness. Not sure if the FPS drops badly but my god I felt ill. Tried again the next day and the same thing happened

Loved this game and thought getting 100% was challenging. Music is amazing.

10 hours in and I got bored and stopped playing. Not up there with BD imo.

Had a few games....meh... Plus it's actually really annoying when someone builds to protect themselves. Not a good mechanic for a shooter.

I find that stepping away from the saturation of news and leaks is so much better an experience. I used to live on forums, back to the N64 days, but just keeping up with headlines and not spoiling things make you enjoy it and appreciate it more. Even reading theories or fake news items can still give you an expectation. Not saying anyone here is doing that, just my experience of the last 5-6 years.

Does look amazing, give me this style over super realism any day.

Ports, DLC, a remake of an ancient GBC game and two actual new games, both of which we've known about for over a year? No, not really. I'd hate to be you. Plenty for me there plus DK adventure plus I've still games on my Switch I haven't even started.

Pokémon, Smash Bros, Hollow Knight, Xenoblade expansion, Fire Emblem, overcooked 2, Mario Party....you guys are hard to please.

I waited for the patch as it was a mess before. Really improved performance I thought, still judders here and there but nothing that would distract.
