Knowing full-well that its release is improbable on any platform, I'm pretty sure 3D Realms said DNF would be distributed in the same manner as HL2 with Steam, making it an unlikely title for a console. Particularly the Rev. with Nintendo's fledgling attempts regarding online capabilities. Don't tell me about the SNES's online capabilities. Double Dragon though? Fingers and legs crossed.

Exactly - brilliant post. Fun is something Nintendo has a natural ability and aspiration to create. I just hope the marketing department are limbering up, because with the undeniable potential of the Revolution, its success is really only going to be limited by the manner in which it is promoted. Personally, I find 'Xbox 360' to be a bit... stupid. 'Nintendo 360' makes a lot more sense - 360 degrees being a full revolution, for those up the back carving their names into the desk. Send Microsoft some flowers and a card - they'll be cool with it.

Once again we need to revise our definition of 'mature'. Nintendo is an artist of the video gaming industry and will support or reject games based on more than their levels of blood and violence. So long as the levels of blood, language, sexual references, etc. add to the game, have a purpose, and are balanced with regards to the game's audience, story, characters, world and situation(s), Nintendo will support it.

1. Resident Evil 5 - Capcom - First person. 2. Star Wars: Episode One Pod Racer - Lucas Arts - Remake or sequel. 3. Splinter Cell 4 - Ubisoft Montreal - Integrating some first person elements, where appropriate. Depending on what Neversoft manage to pull off with Gun - perhaps. And GSC Gameworld with Stalker. PC only, I know. I can dream.
