Europeans could play together but we weren't allowed to play with Japanese or American players. Hopefully they'll let us have both worldwide and continental play in MK8 like in MK Wii and not just have one like in MK7 or Wii Sports.

The Peanut Popgun now deals a powerful attack when it explodes. It'll be difficult to hit your target, but when you succeed, the explosion will really blow your enemies away. Give it a shot when you break someone's shield. Sounds like a cool change for Diddy, now he actually has a reason to charge the gun all the way instead of punishing players who hold the trigger a little too long wanting to get a decent shot.

I think Nintendo are gonna save all the reveals til there's like a month until the game comes out. What's the point of getting people excited for a Wii U when there's not enough games to keep them occupied til the end of May?

I completely forgot about that game! Didn't Kojima himself work on MGS3D and Konami got some other company to make MGS HD Collection? And because they're such an intelligent company they released MGS3D and HD Collection at the same time so no one with a console bought the 3DS game. It's a shame because the 3DS version actually has new features like taking photos to create your own camo and crouch walking ala MGS4 and Peace Walker.

I was gonna say that he shouldn't be in since he doesn't have any games for Wii or Wii U but Mega Man doesn't have any either apart from MM9 and 10.

I'm surprised there isn't already a texture hack for Mario 64 since there are plenty for Zelda Ocarina of Time.

Gonna have to wait for reviews first, the weird premise of the game has me feeling it's gonna be poorly made.

They usually play 1 on 1 which I don't think lends well to playing with items. When it's 4 players however then items need to be on! I really miss the Smash Bros Dojo, it really used to make my day reading each entry. The photo of the day is cool but it doesn't seem as in depth as the Dojo, especially when they post joke photos. Her down + B is way worse :P although I can't really remember what Zelda's standard attacks were like in Melee, I only ever used her in that game after racking up damage with Shiek to land the finishing kick.

Competitive smash players are pretty gross, I've heard stories about how they don't shower for weeks and stink out entire venues, but really what can you expect from people who only go outside and socialise at tournaments? Din's Fire is pretty cool, I liked it in Brawl but then they made Zelda's other moves pretty crap.

Fantasy Zone looks cool... Do we know what other games are coming? I would LOVE Streets of Rage 2 3D

I beat the game without figuring out how to select other worlds... had to look on GameFAQs to find out how gonna try and get all the jigsaws and KONG letters now and then I'll get started on time trials

I may have to do what you guys are doing and buy from ShopTo to get the game early and not worry about Nintendo/The Hut sending the limited edition the following week... Normally I wouldn't mind waiting but I've booked days off work so I can blast through the GPs and the last thing I want is to be sat there doing f*** all waiting for the game on my holiday. EDIT: If any of you guys use Quidco, the Nintendo store is listed on their website so you can get cashback from the Limited Edition or any other purchases you make from them

I just bought Just Dance 2014 today since @Josh64 told me about the dance battles you hae and now I see you're playing a different game! Is JD4 the one with Justin Bieber and One Direction in it? I think I have that one actually.

That's awful... How am I going to play Boom Street now? I was just getting back into playing Smash Bros Brawl online as well thanks to Project M

It takes a lot of hits to break the Smash Ball, if you're going for it then that makes you free to attacks from everyone else. You have a fair few strong Final Smashes like ROB's invincible stupid laser thing, Super Sonic, Wario man, Snake's grenade launcher... but you also have weaker ones like Peach's, Mario's, Meta Knights, Diddy Kongs, I think they should try and make every character's Final Smash even so no one is too strong or too powerful. With Super Sonic you can easily kill everyone twice but with Mario you'd be very lucky to kill anyone at all. I like to play with items, they can be a bit annoying sometimes but that keeps matches from getting boring IMO and they do add a lot of strategy to the game compared to playing without items. I tend to play the game with friends so we always have 4 players on so that's why I use items, when it's just a 1 on 1 fight then I won't use items otherwise it's easy to camp out the opponent especially when they're slower than you.

Good change, those infinite attacks were crap unless you had the enemy by a wall and then they did too much damage.

My copy has finally been dispatched so I'll be joining you guys soon. What control scheme are you guys using? I think I'll be playing this game with the Pro Controller since I quite liked the controls in the 3DS game.

What don't you like about Luigi time? I always liked his Final Smash especially on smaller stages where it's tricky to avoid getting caught in it. Nothing better than giving enemies a super powered uppercut while they're asleep

Level 5 games always go on sale so I'll just wait for one on this game. Have any of you guys played Recettear? How similar is Weapon Shop to that game?
