  3. After the wonderful kart handling of MK64, i thought that DKR karts handled too floaty and imprecise to be any good, the drifting in particular was especially twitchy. Mickey's, whilst being bland due to that licence, karts handled superbly and had a more realistic feel of driving F1 cars around the track. If the DKR karts handled like those in Mickey's Speedway, then MK64 would have been beaten, alas not to be.
  4. No, it's not. The full eShop download of this game is 22.7GB. The extra Download packs are for use with the disc version of the game only (about 10GB download total) to minimise loading times, and are not in use with the download version from the eShop.
  5. http://www.gamesrocket.co.uk/Console/Nintendo-eShop/sort-by-price GamesRocket only sell eShop codes.
  6. Finally caught up with everything after a few busy weeks.
  7. I still play, but time constrains me a lot. Up to HR3 this weekend, taken down Gore Magala 3 times, need to start farming him for some extra pieces of armour. Tigrex was a challenge, it really is beautiful to see how the monsters animation and AI adapts to the terrain at hand. This was so evident in the way Tigrex uses the cliff edges to pull himself up, awesome fighting him.
  8. Whatever you set your country to, the eShop will be for that country without restrictions wherever you are in the world. I have a UK (European WiiU) in Taiwan, but use the UK eShop without any problems whatsoever. The country you set it to is up to you, but try and choose somewhere cheaper and where they have a language you can read, and have a compatible Credit Card for (you could also buy eShop cards). All games these days, especially 1st party opnes are released via the eShop, but are so much more expensive as they tend to be at RRP (full retail price). During set-up it'll ask you to assign an NNID to your console, I suppose you'll be able to delete everything and start over again when you get it. I'm not 100% sure on that.
  9. Let's hope so, dire week for WiiU
  10. I find myself in the same bind, if it was half price for only one platform I would more than likely bite.
  11. It's the calm before the storm, new characters are being introduced to set up a larger world, and all that takes time to unfold whilst remaining convincing. I don't think it's boring, but I've put a lot of time into the books and show that I care a lot for them.
  12. Just caught up with Episodes 10 and 11, should watch 12 later today.
  13. Yes, it's all OK. I did just that and no region issues. It lets you choose your region as the UK, (or Finland) also, for access to the eShop and all. No problems between European and Australian regions, all compatible.
  14. That fails to mention the free DLC arriving for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on Friday 6th March; Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (Capcom, free) – The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Costume, Master Sword and Hylian Shield, Goddess Bow, new weapons (Emperor’s Speech weapons and an equipment set based on a collaboration with Universal Studios Japan), and an extra quest (Clockwork Contraption).
  15. Monster Hunter 4 has al;ready been dropped to 26.99 at Base; http://www.base.com/buy/product/monster-hunter-4-ultimate-nintendo-3ds/dgc-monhun4ult3ds.htm Should imagine that all hunters have their copy now though.

  19. Fuck me, I thought I had been obsessive with my 15 hours, most single player, haha
  20. Epic 2 hours hunting with 3 other , well rehearsed, hunters. Managed Great Jaggi twice, trapped and captured a Gypceros twice, then killed him once, killed Tetsucabra, and that big spider thing I can't remember the name of (dead anyway), and finished off with some egg collecting. This game is awesome with 4 players online together. Normally my internet connection is laggy due to where I'm located, but this was the best I've ever experienced. In fact most 3rd party games I can play online OK. It's only Nintendo games that I get a lot of drop out of, MK8 drops out before each race starts. Now I've nearly finished all the 2 star quests, do I have to finish all those training 1 star Great Jaggi quests to obtain the HR points??
