Well that's a shame. I thought this issue was finally resolved with the XL. My 3DS only had minimal scratches on the left side, but I'm happy that my XL is scratch/mark free. Also the yellow/warm tinge colour that you guys mention, how strong is it? In my case only the top screen has a slight tinge to it whereas my bottom screen is totally fine. Apart from the slightly noticeable dip in sound quality and the spongy select/home/start buttons I'm very pleased with XL. Playing DS & VC titles is a lot more fun especially with the much improved D-pad and playing 3DS software has been great, if not better than when I had played them on the 3DS.

I've only played the GBA version of Yoshi's Island. But to this day it's one of my favourite games ever. I haven't played the DS sequel but the reviews I've read have been very positive.

MK7 & KI:U look amazing on the XL! it's amazing how much of a difference the larger screens make. I played uprising on the stand and had no problems with it, that was one of the few things I was worrying about. MGS3D will really benefit from these huge screens.

I thought it looked really good, bear in mind I've never played DQIX on a DSi/DSiXL etc. When comparing to the 3DS it's much better only played a few minutes, soon after I tested MK7. I will go back to DQIX a bit later after I've checked out some other titles.

I agree Totally agree, when I first saw the pictures I was very excited, but after feeling it for myself it's just a let down (IMO). They look awesome, but don't feel anywhere near as good as they look. Original DS Games: It's exactly what you expect. 1-1 mode is exactly the same size as on a DSi (not DS/DSLite). I wouldn't say I completely lost interest in this, it's just near the end of the Queue for me. I don't really mind if this isn't a launch title, from now until February there are plenty of top quality titles that will be released.

I too will play DQIX. Pilot wings sounds nice, this is just from videos as I don't have the game though.

No, I thought you loose everything that you've acquired along the way. This is the first time I'm playing DQ. Still doesn't change the fact I've faced a lot of monsters and have lvl'd up aswell.
