bombed big time! shame as by all reports its a good game..

Fifa 09 on PC is garbage and nowhere near the level of the 360/PS3 game. I am hoping one of my friends picks this up so i can give it a try. No way I gonna use classic controls though as PES on PS2 just ended up being full of scripted CPU assisted gameplay.

Well fire pro is 2-D so its hard to compare. I dont think No Mercy is the best wrestling game ever anyway. Virtual Pro-Wrestling II was the better game, it had better A.I, better wrestlers, more moves and an MMA mode. Then King of Coliseaum II came out on PS2 and I regard that the best 3-D Wrestling game ever! Few things about Fire Pro. It has at least 300 wrestlers in its roster so you can never really get bored with only playing with a few characters. MMA, K-1 fighters are all included. If you are new to fire-pro before you play it try and get SVR out your mind as Fire Pro is nothing like it! Fire Pro for me represents Pro-Wrestling how Pro-Wrestling should be. Remember is is a japanese developed game developed by japanese wrestling fans. It does not simulate the OTT cartoon character Bullshit which you see in the WWE/TNA. You wont see a story mode with guys speaking on the mic, sneak attacks, backstage brawls, Wrestlers GF's being taken etc etc. You cannot button mash and when you first play you will get beat easily. it took me at leasr 10 matches before I understood how the timing and distance scheme works. Fire Pro has so much depth its unreal. Every wrestler is rated with different stats and skill level. Height and Weight make an actual difference and every wrestler feels different! The amount of depth in each wrestler is amazing and no other wrestling games comes anywhere near it. The game has hundreds of moves and it will take you years before you see everything what the game offers. It has great A.I which is not dumb! CPU vs CPU matches are great to watch!

I think this looks better than Wii fit so I hope it gets a japanese release. It should as Wii Fit sold so well, EA would be crazy to ignore Japan. I am glad you dont need to use the Wii Fit board.

mmm i still kinda debating if I am gonna get this years version. I like the Wii 2008 version and thought it was great but i never really played it as much I thought I would. 2009 is not out in Japan till 14th May which is very strange! If it is not region specific when it comes to online play then thats great!!

Eurogamer review. They say FIFA 09 on PS3 and 360 is still the best soccer game around.. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/pro-evolution-soccer-2009-wii-review

I am on chapter 3 now. Not gonna play co-op till I clock this on my own. It is a good game but so far it doesnt really feel like resident evil.
-
have a wii, havent played it in months though. All my money goes on 360 and DS games..
-
I dont think EA have released the update yet. Very strange though as I pretty sure last years game had the update out in Feb. I guess they are waiting till they release the new game mode DLC.

does anyone else not use these silly ultra moves when playing online or is it just me? Even when losing I wont use them. I like to be an offensive player but when playing a Sagat or Ken for example i have to go defensive when there ultra is up. I know if I jump in then the ultra is coming and bang there goes 60% of my health bar. Supers are great but there was no need for capcom to put in these ultra moves.

I knew this would suck! when it was first announced I wasnt keen as Sonic should not be about fighting enemies with a damn sword. It was a stupid idea and I hope the game bombs. Until Sonic on all 3 consoles starts bombing in sales nothing is ever gonna really change. It is one poor/average game after another at the moment. Sega are so lucky that sonic has such a loyal fanbase.

Hard and above Seth is so cheap. I am dreading the last boss on King of Fighters XII. SNK bosses are always mega cheap!!
-
played for about 30mins so far. It is a good game, not better than third strike but still nice. Graphically the Arcade version looks better! Played one guy online and beat him with ken while he was Akuma. got a horrible feeling nuff people are gonna pick Akuma because of his cheap ultra move. I think the Ultra's in general are a bit cheap and wish you could turn them off!

got mine today. just got in so if you wanna play just add me. 360 - kobashi100

By John Cross 3/02/2009 Robbie Keane and Rafa Benitez Robbie Keane was last night forced out of Liverpool before completing an incredible return to Tottenham. Keane, who only moved to Anfield for £20.3million in July, was determined to stay. But boss Rafa Benitez bullied him into rejoining Spurs after warning he was prepared to let him rot in the reserves for the rest of the season. Republic of Ireland striker Keane, 28, even told Liverpool he only wanted to sign for Tottenham on loan until May. But Benitez made it clear that the forward had no future on Merseyside while he was still manager. The bitter breakdown left Keane with no choice and he returned to White Hart Lane for an initial £12m, rising to £15.5m. Benitez is now set to sign a new four-year contract this week to stay at Anfield.

Keane wasnt good enough but if Rafa thinks that kuyt can do the job when torres is out he has pretty much lost his mind. Kuyt is 100% garbage and now Liverpool are very light upfront. If Rafa wanted Keane out why didnt he do it earlier and get someone else in. pathetic how Rafa was trying to pass this whole saga on to the feet of Rick Parry, Rafa bought him failed to utilise him and is now willing to pass him on after 6 months. Rafa Signed him and it was a flop. Sells him but doesnt get anyone into replace him. Dunno if any other manager going for the title would do something like this.

anybody know the cheapest place to get rock band (game only) on 360?
-
Phantasy Star Zero (Sega) - 86,000 / NEW way lower than expected. That needs to pick up sales over next few weeks.

mate go to online game modes then scroll down to FIFA 09 match creation, then head to head play. You can then choose: Play a friend (this what you need), quick match, custom match, create match. EA released new commentary packs. German, french, dutch, spanish, Italian and Brazilian I think. These are free downloads, they also charge for the commentary pack from Andy Townsend and some other ITV dude. Problem is that it is just the same commentary from the UEFA 2008 game. I have heard it can sound silly sometimes as they dont mention the club football teams. Get the Dutch one as it is funny hearing them pronounce english names. I dont use the english commentary anymore as it gets real boring.

I sky+ Ratatouille on Disney Cinemagic HD. I not watched it yet but hear the PQ in HD is amazing. Have you seen Happy Feet on Blu-Ray? I have the HD-DVD and the PQ is so sharp and very crisp. That's one film you should get if you ever wanna show off the benefit of blu-ray/HD to friends.

the prices should drop as some China-based manufacturers were given Blu-ray licenses earlier this year. Production should start sometime in 2009.
