    I seriously have no idea how I did that. I think the trick is the explosives. Gates and black holes. If they turn up I head straight for them and try and 'combo' as many shapes as I can with the explosion. Killing all the way, too.

    I really liked that show. It's not as bombastic as the (good) films but then, being James Cameron efforts, that's hardly surprising. Summer Glau FTW. You can really see her dancing training pay off in the role- her body language and physical control is fantastic. Not bad in tight Jeans either

Ticket sales have absolutely fuck all to do with any measure of quality whatsoever. They mean nothing to a film at all. They say alot about audiences, but nothing about the film. Example: Bret 'death of joy' Ratner's Rush Hour 3 made millions, right? it was a massive hit. does that mean it was good? Does it fuck. All that proves is that audiences are full of dumb fucks who don't know what good cinema is. by comparison, let's take a stab in the dark and say...ehh...Lust, Caution by Ang Lee. Did that make as much? no! Is it better? Of course it is! It's Ang lee! see what I did there? I destroyed your argument.

    wrong use. We mean Objective view point, which is to look at something's merit from a neutral standpoint as an object, whereas from a subjective point means to engage your own emotional response to the thing, because you're the subject of it. Sorry. Terrible at explaining words like that!

    ooh this is actually a good thread. Fuck me, forum. I'd thought we'd lost the ability to do that this week. Anyhoo- to make my own petty contribution I'm with OW on this one. The quality of art is, when you put thought in to it beyond 'that was fun/that was boring', totally objective. I'm talking about the skill of the writers, directors, camera crew and so on. The degree to which that matters to you is subjective and it's a shame more people don't pay attention to that kind of stuff. It makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable.

    Alright, peons! Big week this week. The Bard is home and I found my Gears of War disc that was presumed lost in my move back from uni. What to do to reconcile two such aamzing events? why, play Gears of War online and get drunk, of course! that's right! the age old* tradition returns, and you're all invited to play with us as we slip in to degeneracy, abuse and a loss of fine motor control. I'm thinking this weekend. Oui? * we did it once or twice when sainsbury's did an offer on Bulmers!
