Stop Making Sense The seminal live film from Talking Heads! Made in 1984, it's a composition from 3 gigs from their tour that year. Part music, part performance art, it's really quite interesting. They're one of my favourite bands, so seeing them live in such a good film was really special. oh, and David Byrne is the greatest frontman of all time, the crazy bastard! 10.

Not expecting anything just yet as I called to ask and they're still after a few references and so on. Gaah. Also, the quality of candidates was apparently very high, which is a bit nerve wrecking. Anyway, making plans for tonight. A local promoter I know is playing Stop Making Sense, the legendary Talking Heads live film, down at a bar in town aaand giving away choc ices and popcorn. Genius. Hopefully get a few peeps down there!

did you not register with a GP when you arrived? My suggestion would be to visit your union and ask Student Support about local GPs. Failing that, ring NHS Direct and ask a nurse.

The thing is with meeting with people of teh intardwebz is that, generally speaking, most people on the internet these days are just people. Everyone uses it so the vast majority are going to be perfectly nice people just like in real life.
