Hi, I currently have a 60GB PS3 with the backwards compatability. I've had it for 2 years this christmas. I'm rather worried about how noisy it's getting as of late. With all these YLOD reports going around it has got me worried. The problem I have is that if it breaks i'll have to fork out £150 to Sony for a refurb which will probably break again after 6 months. So should I sell mine and get a 250GB slim? Tbh the slim looks meh to me, but I don't know if I want to risk my PS3 breaking and paying £150 when I can pay like only £50-60 for a slim. I don't really use the PS2 compatability as I have a PS2. The memory readers do get a little bit of use but that's only because I have a 4GB CF lying around. I just don't know what to do ...

Just found out my 1st semster is done untill 11th Jan xD so i'll be free for any PSN nights that involve Burnout or LBP or possibly GTA. At least until christmas when I get more games :P.

Just out of curiosity what courses are you all doing? I'm on a Computer Games Technology course but I have the option to switch to animation and visualisation at the end of my 1st year. Programming is seeming more and more tedious the more I do of it.

Ours in in the process of being decorated as I speak, hopefully it'll be done soon and I can post a pic xD.

The only older game I have that's worth playing is Burnout Paradise and even then I don't have Big Surf Island x_x i'm a poor student ... scratch that i'm just a student ;P. Never really tried GTA's online mode and for some odd reason I cannot recall the rest of my games from here in uni O.o.

I'll need some new games before I can consider playing, not had new ones in ages. Nobody plays the older games anymore :P.

Omg I Need to fix my PSP quickly so I can play this >.<. Stupid analogue stick has a mind of it's own since I bought a replacement case. Will have to solder it to the motherboard to solve this -_-. Either way I shall play this game >:3.

Hi I am wanting to buy some compressed air to clean my pc, my mums and my ps3. I have seen some in Asda for like £5 each but that was like months ago so it might be cheaper now. Anyway I found these on ebay, would these be ok or should I just buy the ones from Asda? The feedback says it's good but I dunno the cans look kinda dodgy and cheap to me. O.o hope it's ok. I'm worried about mine as the fan goes faster sooner now like after 10 mins or less. I've read that means it could be on it's way out but i'm hoping it's just dust that I can get out. Mine's a 60GB Launch one.

Don't think I can help with DLC ones though as I have none, only the free stuff.

I don't have Big Surf Island unfortunately :/. I only have the free dlc they gave us and nothing else. I'm a poor person :P. I wish they'd release the PSN cards here as it would make it so much easier. I'll add you ^^.

So is there going to be any meetups soon? I'm extremely bored sitting around the house and it would be fun ^^. I only have Little Big Planet, Burnout Paradise and GTA 4. I still need to get my platinum on Burnout all I need is to invite a friend >:3.

Ah right, I guess I got confused too :P. I'll post back here in the future to let people know if it worked or not. Thanks for the help. As I said The PSN thing happened very rarely so I dunno if i'll notice it working, only on that day, just the paradise city servers kicking me from games I was in but I assume it's all linked somehow. Now to start testing it :P

Oh, I thought you meant my own DNS number, is that Sony's DNS numbers? It's ok ^^ what I meant was I entered my own DNS number found in my router settings and I only had one, no secondary.

I have, I mean I only seem to have 1 DNS number, would I enter the same number twice?

I'll try this now, I won't know if it has worked as the kickings are random and I don't think I can recreate them but I guess it's worth a shot ^^. Also I can only see one DNS server number in my router settings I cannot see the second, what should I do there? Edit: I have entered just one DNS atm and it connects fine, do I need to find another for the secondary one?

I usually just get kicked from rooms when playing randomly. Also when I make my own rooms I disconnect from the paradise city servers sometimes. Only the other day did I get DNS errors where I was thrown off the PSN completely about 4 times within 2 hours.

Ok i'll do that later when I get home ^_^. The connection thing is really bugging me though I hope it's not as bad today as I kept getting kicked yesterday.

Hi, can someone here please help me get the invite a friend trophy? None of my friends have a PS3 ¬_¬ and I think it's the only one I need to get to get the Platinum Trophy. Also I think the PSN or something is acting up as I constantly seem to be getting kicked off the Paradise City servers and sometimes the PSN. It has only started happening since I updated to 2.70 anyone else experience this?

Racing really bores me. But every year my dad makes me pick a horse I usually just randomly pick one never wins lol. Aintree Race Course is like 5-10 mins away by car from mine it gets really chaotic around there. Almost impossible to get a bus into town for the traffic ¬_¬ this year though they have them on divert so all is well ^^.

I wish I knew enough php to help but i'm only just learning it now. I could ask my college teacher since for one of my projects I'm making a site in php and will probably want to do something similar to this. If I find out i'll post back here ^^.
