If the other one you mean is Paper Mario then I am right there with you This looks quite good already and I'm sure it will be an amazing game. Edit: Thanks for pointing that out Magnus

I also don't understand people who play with the knuckle of their thumb, I mean it makes so much more sense to use the tip of your thumb, not to mention that you can probably control it more precisely. I suppose it is all a matter of person preference, and since the d-pad is lower down on the 3DS perhaps it is uncomfortable to do it otherwise.

Link's Awakening looks so nice

[SPOILERS!!] The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Adthegreat replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I quite enjoyed the sky temple, so if that were to make a return, which the name of the game seems to imply, then I would be pleased. If I have enough time I might even replay Twilight Princess, since I can hardly remember it, and it was pretty fun. Especially the snow and sky dungeons -
Let's see, I have: Red, Yellow, Gold, Crystal, Ruby, FireRed, Diamond and HeartGold. If you have siblings who also play then it makes a lot of sense

I thought I was the only one I too always get the first one of the two, and while I don't know if I will pick this one up at launch, I do intend to get the Black version.

Are the 3DS cameras better than the DSi cameras?

We Dare (A Better Thread Than Rez's Shit)
Adthegreat replied to Fused King's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Well that was awkward to watch You can tell that even the actors are thinking what in the world they are doing. -
I don't know if you have seen this already, but here is an unboxing video:

[SPOILERS!!] The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Adthegreat replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I'm torn whether to inform myself about the game, or to stay completely blacked-out from the media. It probably would be fun playing it completely spoiler-free, but I don't know how realistic that is -
I was wondering if the thread title was wrong on purpose or not Since this game is basically just a finished version of a tech demo for the original DS, and in many respects it looks almost identical, I don't know how interesting this title sounds. I have played the original tech demo, and the controls were quite frustrating sometimes, since you have to control angle, depth and throttle all on the touch screen.

Haha, I also only have level 100s from Gen. 1 with the rare candy trick. I do have a couple legit around level 80-90 throughout various generations though.

Oh, is diving making a comeback?
-
Well, I honestly have to say that I wasn't overly excited about this one, for the first time since Red nonetheless, but hearing Serebii, of all people, say that it's the best, sure changes my outlook. Unless of course they are paying you to say that

Hmm, after seeing those pictures I am starting to regret not going I was going to go, but then when I heard about how you only get 20 minutes and since most of the games didn't interest me that much and I had some things to do anyway, I decided not to. I probably won't get a 3DS anyway, or at least not at launch, since my DSi still does its job perfectly. I may end up waiting for the second iteration. Once Paper Mario is released, we'll talk.

From the description: Sometimes even Layton needs a sword

Oh, that clears it up. Thanks

For some reason I am not able to thank people. For me a typical post looks like this. Do I need to have a certain amount of posts before I get the privilege of thanking, or is this because of some browser/OS issue?

Maybe it is just me understanding the strategy better and having more battle experience, but I too have felt that the elite four is getting easier every generation.

Animal Crossing might not have the best visual rain effects, but the atmosphere is unbeatable. Here is the proof:

I'm afraid you won't get a disagreement from me, in fact I would much rather have another Wind Waker style game than Skyward Sword
-
Well that doesn't sound too bad. Does anybody know how much it will cost in continental Europe by the way? I would assume that it is more than £230
-
Excellent news indeed

For me there is no game with better water than Super Mario Sunshine. The waves looked and moved phenomenally, and I have yet to see nicer looking water. I spent hours using the boost attachment to jetski around on the water surface. As for underwater beauty, I would have to pick Endless Ocean, which I suppose is a bit of an obvious choice, but it really has great lighting effects.

I don't think I would go if it was a long journey, but luckily it is only about 20 minutes each way, so I don't have anything to lose. The 3D is the real reason I'm going so it doesn't really matter which game I end up playing. Thanks for the tip though, I may just avoid OoT altogether, so that I have a bigger surprise if/when I buy it.
