  1. Yep, one hell of a band. I only got into them through Richard Hawley's solo stuff (which is very different, but equally awesome). Cole's Corner is definitely his best album, infact, probably one of the best albums of this decade.
  2. I love riddles! Took me a while to work out, but I did
  3. Hey, I loved that show and expressed my love for it, approximately 20 posts back. It was such a huge party of my childhood, how could I have missed it out
  4. Wow, I didn't realise I was a commie bastard
  5. I thought this was the case, but recently I heard some worrying news that church attendence was rising.
  6. I must say, I'm quite the addict Answer Me This! Armstrong and Miller - Timeghost Ask A Ninja Bad Science The Bugle - Audio Newspaper for a Visual World The Collings and Herrin Podcast The Danny Wallace XFM Podcast David Mitchell's Soapbox Flight of the Conchords Frank Skinner on Absolute Radio Friday Night Comedy on BBC Radio 4 Hope is Emo The Karl Pilkington Podcast Live from London: Eddie Izzard On The Hour The Perfect Ten with Phill Jupitus and Phil Wilding The Ricky Gervais Podcast Russel Brand Sarcastic Gamer Science Weekly from the Guardian The Sound of the Ladies Podcast Stephen Fry's PODGRAMS Stuff You Should Know So yeah, a lot. I'd recommend all of those, especially Answer Me This! and The Perfect Ten. A total of 9.9 days/807 items/13.62 GB. Geez...
  7. I guess I can understand that, but if a team isn't playing good football, why go to their matches? I'm sure it feels nice being surrounded by a bunch of like minded people, but surely that and the hope of winning a trophy isn't enough to justify watching a poor team play football? Would you consider it to be acceptable to change club if you moved house to a different city? Thanks
  8. The Animals of Farthing Wood kicked ass. Damn Scarface, that bastard. I also watched (far too much of): Cow and Chicken Johnny Bravo (I even have a poster of him in my room, I like to pretend I got it when I was six, but I really got it two months ago...) Courage the Cowardly Dog Pokémon Digimon (digital monsters...) Catdog And probably far more that weren't so good or memorable.
  9. In Bruges Pretty damn funny, short and enjoyable. 8/10 I'm Not There A weird and confusing film about Bob Dylan, but with excellent music, of course. As you may or may not know, Bob Dylan was portrayed by six different actors. It took me a while to work out the little black kid was Bob Dylan, except not really Bob Dylan... It was interesting and worth watching, with great music, of course. 7/10 Ronin Some pretty good car chases, but nothing special. Robert De Niro and the french goodie were interesting, but the other characters were just annoying... If I could go back in time, I wouldn't have bothered watching this movie. 4/10 The Godfather Part II Why haven't I seen this before, an excellent movie, nearly perfect, except in the scene in which Michael's wife confronts him and says she had an abortion, when she said "Yes, I had an abortion! Just like this marriage is an abortion!" I got really pissed off. A) Why was that line allowed in an otherwise perfect script? B) That lady can clearly act, as seen in the rest of the movie, so why was this allowed in? 9/10 Also, people say the second movies is better, but really? I preferred the first, perhaps it was because I'd never seen anything like it before (except, perhaps, The Deer Hunter).
  10. I dunno, having read Ben Goldacre's book, Bad Science, I hate the media as much as anyone. It's a really excellent book that attacks all aspects of the media, even the "good" newspapers; I'd recommend everyone reads it. Everyone (sane) hates the tabloids that feed off peoples hatred, but I'd be interested in knowing what you have against the guardian, for example. I'm not into football like you are, but I still think it would be nice for you to attempt to explain it. Thanks
  11. Yes, the Daily Mail is shit, but why do you hate other newspapers? Why is this a problem? I've never understood why football fans get so annoyed by this, surely it's good to support a team for a reason (eg, they are doing well), rather than watching a crap team because your dad watches that crap team?
  12. For me: 1 Majora's Mask 2 Minnish Cap 3 Wind Waker I feel like OoT and the Oracles should be in there, but there's not enough room, dammit!
  13. Awesome! You shall not regret it! I bought...
  14. I just got myself a fancy Mass Effect 2 them for my iGoogle page. I'm contemplating replaying Mass Effect for a third time, so I can have a save to use in the second game. When my 360 broke my MU didn't have enough space to hold every save I had, so some had to be lost, with Mass Effect being the one I miss most.
