  3. raining again has a nice ring to it, it's a bit depressing but it's cool. 9/10

  5. my most lvoed person is my mum. i hate to sound cliched but my most hated is george bush.
  6. *waits for johelian to see the thread and get super-excited*
  7. shutup fool! anyway 7/10 for your avatar, it's quite a cool picture.
  8. wish me luck guys, i've just smoked my very last cigarette! fingers crossed i'll quit properly this time.
  9. lol it looks like we're just going in circles now, i think we should probably just end this little discussion dunno if i've recommended them yet but goldfrapp are awesome!
  10. damn you! that post was so funny i just spat coffee all over my computer, i'll be sending you my cleaning bill!
  11. so which year was it that you were nominated for the mercury music prize? you may not see the merits in his music but you should at least recognise that other people can. baaaack on topic, stranger, it's a bit of a long shot but i'd recommend animal collective's albums "feels" and "sung tongs". they're quite eccentric but have a pop sensibility too; if you like the flaming lips there's a chance you'll enjoy animal collective too.
  12. i'd like to see you try.
  13. after seeing you mention it in every post, i thought i'd watch veronica mars today. sorry but it was not my cup of tea, and the token black guy was just shameful. suppose it just goes to show that one person's shit is another's treasure(i can't remember exactly how the saying goes )
  14. he produces his own music aswell, i think you'll find that a lot more talent than you're willing to recognise is required to write and produce a full-length album.
  15. the streets' 'original pirate material' was brilliant! i can't deny the second album was shite beyond belief though.
  16. well personally i found haver's post funny.
  17. i've already recommended them and been ridiculed for it by someone who's msot likely never listened to the album in full. "apologies..." is pretty great isn't it?
  18. i think it should be kept. if it helps reduce spam then why get rid of it?
  19. a lot of people bought ps2's as dvd players aswell as game consoles, in fact the ps2 boosted the dvd market in japan. i'd say that was pretty succesful.
  20. tom vek's we have sound is another album i'd recommend, kinda similar to the libertines and franz in the new-wavey sound, interpol are a little more challenging but they're definitely worth a listen.
  21. i'm so sorry for you *huggles*
  22. yes i do, i'm talking about my opinion
  23. or if human and bird get into very close proximity, if you know what i mean  i've stopped eating chicken as a precaution now, but to be honest while avian flu is at the back of my mind it doesn't pose any real danger to us right now.
  24. stranger, the kt tunstall is average at best, you're better off just downloading the singles. i already said this on the first page, but you obviously don't read my posts *cries* yes they are, and better bands than oasis could ever hope to be i love dfa1979! madvillain i also like, i might check out gnarles barkley too, i've heard good things about cee-lo. madlib's solo stuff is amazing, especially mind fusion vol.1 & 2. i haven't really listened to it much but edan's "beauty and the beat" is worth checking out too. i'm glad that i'm not the only person in the world that likes indie hip-hop
  25. no disrepect to moria, but ignore his post the new franz and oasis are both disappointing. on the indie-rock theme though, i'd also recommend be your own pet, yeah yeah yeahs, clap your hands say yeah, arcade fire and wolf parade.
