  1. my feelings for this show would fit right in the "indifference" thread.
  2. try and get britneylicker, a mash-up of slave 4 u and aphex twin's windowlicker, it's amazing. my fasvourite mash-ups i've ever heard though are smells like teen spirit vs. bootylicious and where's your head at vs. losing my religion. i highly recommend dangermouse's(producer of gorillaz and one half of dangerdoom) the grey album, it's a mash-up of the beatles' white album and jay-z's black album.
  3. wow the ocean seems like a completely different world to ours, i wish i was a fish.
  4. COCOROSIE - sorry for the caps, but they're the most amazing band i've ever heard, everyone should give their albums 'la maison de mon reve' and 'noah's ark' a few listens. they make a kind of pseudo-folk and electronic music, they draw a lot on their cherokee heritage. one sister has a really creepy, gypsy-child voice and the other has had operatic training. portishead on acid, if you will. i've probably just put you all off ever wanting to listen to their music hehe, they're definitely worth your time if you like challenging music, though. by the way one of them is in my avatar courtesy of athriller also listening to - DFA1979, annie, diane cluck, aretha franklin, MIA, the go! team and the pipettes
  5. cameron, and i will be voting conservative. new labour needs to realise they can't keep on treating us like idiots and actually realise that they're a left-wing party. i know my logic sounds stupid but it makes sense in my head
  6. on bbc one? i saw it too, awesome's definitely the right word is it weird that i want to live in that hotel now?
  7. well i think it's nice when blokes make a bit of effort, and i'm sur emost other girls feel the same too. are you one of those men that thinks it's a man's job to go out and work while the wife cooks and looks pretty?
  8. LOL, i'll try not to!
  9. 21 grams and y tu mama tambien ,both of which i only saw about a month ago. truly amazing films, i'd recommend them to anyone
  10. i'm not sure why, but i think i'd probably be a greyhound.
  11. old_gregg, stop sending me abusive pm's and stop posting shitty threads please
  12. you raise some interesting points blackfox, but i still think the differences between heterosexuality and homosexuality are far smaller than the differences between heterosexuality and paedophilia. perhaps not in the basic mating instinct, or in thought, but when paedophillic urges are acted upon there's the factor of exploitation. gay people and straight people are the same in that there's consent between both partners, when you mix an adult and a child that balance no longer exists. edit - just realised that in the time it took me to write my post three people have already made my point for me
  13. thanks for that. haver, do you know when the london donations will be up and running?
  14. i did the same we called them moshers down in south wales though.
  15. shorty, you big ol' pessimist
  16. it's his implication that the acceptance of homosexuality is a negative thing that i have a problem with. i understand that as a mormon you will have different views to me on this, but i found his post pretty offensive. that is all.
  17. surely it's not that complex to put positive emotions in the happy thread, negative in the angry one and if needed, indifference in the indifference thread, much in the same way bowser's "excellent" and "not so excellent" threads worked. i bet athriller's pretty bummed he ever made that angry thread now
  18. it's pretty disgusting for you to make any association between homosexuality and paedophilia. the acceptance of gay people has nothing to do with the moral degradation of modern society, and i'm angry that you'd make such an ignorant comment.
  19. goody body, but there's no denying bitch sure went overboard with the plastic surgery hehe
  20. or downgrades maybe? haden, in my experience women are far more vicious than men, but we do it with subtlety, manipulation and backstabbing rather than shouting and punching.(generally)
  21. get over it, you're being silly.
  22. well said athriller, one of my bestest friends is gay, he's so lovely! although to be honest, i usually get more tatty than he does if i think someone's being homophobic edit- i think we'll have to agree to disagree blackfox. the only thing that's come close to offending me in the thread is grebe's sexism and homophobia, but i can't change him. luagh at him, i certainly can do though
  23. lovely descriptive?
  24. blackfox, as far as i'm aware this has been a light-hearted conversation, there's no chilling out that needs to be done here.
