I Am Legend - 6/10 Felt like a missed opportunity really. The first half of the movie was great! The visuals of an empty New York and the location shots are awesome! The first time Smith goes into the dark to is a tense moment and what you see of the dark seekers at that time is reason to be scared of them. But then it all just seemed to turn to blah!

I'm watching a lot of films atm as well, though it's mainly blockbusters I didn't get round to seeing, but also some others in there aswell that are meant to be worth a watch. The other day True Romance, then Fantastic Four, yesterday The Incredible Hulk, tonight I Am Legend.

Didn't see it at the cinema and didn't read about after the credit stuff because I wasn't follwing Iron Man that closely at the time. Cheers, will check it out!

Iron Man/Superman news Did Iron Man reveal his identity a bit early in the movies? Does he wait longer in the comics?Also just been reading back on Iron Man news, was Samuel L Jackson in Iron Man? I don't rememebr seeing him [as Nick Fury]! Lex is getting boring in the Superman films!Brainiac is cool from what I've seen of him in Smallville. Anyone think Superman should be rebooted again? or carry on and have Superman V?

Would that even work though given the layout of Resi 2/3? Surely an over the sholder view set in nothing but corridors/streets/alleyways would make the game rediculously easy as the zombies would just line up! Though they could increase the numbers I suppose. It works in Resi 4/5 because a lot of the level design is open, so they can come at you from all angles.

Yeah it seems a lot of people have started speaking out against Bernie and Max and I couldn't agree with them more! Think it's time that the teams [FOTA] had the majority say.

Lily linked to new Dr Who role... Rumours I know but... Don't really like Lily Allen, but I can see what they would be trying to do with that one, i.e. Billie Piper/Rose Tyler version 2! As for Kelly Brook, she's a tall big boned girl and would dwarf the new Doctor!! unless they do constant angles trickery! And Rachel Stevens, lovely girl, but they might as well cast a plank of wood!

Why will the Avengers movie star Hulk and Cap, if Cap joins after Hulk leaves?I assume the Hulk comes back and rejoins does he? Or is the Avengers movie not really concerned about who was in the team with who; and more about creating the best possible line-up for a movie, regardless?! @ Rez', so Spidey/X-Men/FF are all seperately owned?! Spidey is Sony right? Shame Wolverine couldn't appear in Spiderman, as it could make for a great combo in a future Spidey film. That means Hulk and The Thing can never meet also? If I'm right I thought they had many run-ins in the comics, which is another shame for the films!

News on how they are going to do the Thor 'origins' movie: I haven't any understanding of the Thor universe, having never read the comics and the fact that [unlike Spiderman, at least to my knowledge] there has never been a Thor cartoon. However, I think the concept for the film sounds great! So basically the large majority of the film will be set in ancient land of Asgard with all these Gods and mythical creatures; so a Lord of the Rings type get-up. And then towards the end of the film he'll be banished to Earth, and you'll probably get some short cut-together sequences of how his Earth life has been playing out. Then right at the end, or maybe after the credits, he'll find his Hammer! And be Thor again! Really like the sound of this! And after Iron Man [and the new Hulk is supposed to be pretty good isn't it], there's some renewed hope in Marvel, after the aweful Spiderman 3 and X-Men 3. Few Questions: - Who should play Thor? read on IGN some people thought Gerard Butler [of 300] would be good for the part, do Thor fans on here agree? - As all these 'origin' movies [iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain Amercia etc...] are gearing up to an Avengers movie... are Spiderman and the X-Men in the Avengers? It's wierd because i've never really thought of Spiderman and X-Men being in the same 'universe', though I've been aware of Spiderman and Wolverine meeting! so I really should have! - Does anyone think Spiderman 4 and 5 will have an appearance from Wolverine [Hugh Jackman will be busy] or another X-Men character, or another Marvel character, in order in tie the worlds together? Because at the moment they are tying Iron-Man and the Hulk [and presumably Captain America, Thor etc], yet Spiderman, X-Men and Fantastic Four for that matter! all seem very distant from this and in their own worlds. Or aren't Spidey, X-Men/Wolverine, FF important to the Avengers? End Rant!

Fucking hell, some people on this forum go SO overboard on the whole photoshop/what is and what isn't natural thing, it's unreal!! Who cares! it's a pretty gal with a nice arse on a movie poster. And of course it's been done to draw your attention to the poster! it's advertising! And in terms of whether your arse cheeks are together when you stand up, if your fat[ter] then they will be, if your skinny[ier] then they wont be! And it will depend, like her if you're in sports pants, or whatever you're wearing! It's hardly rocket science!

FFS guys! it's just the tight sports type pants they've got her in... ala miss Sharapova!

It was never going to be someone famous, but Simon Pegg would have been awesome! Also thought about Alan Davis, who would have looked the part, but don't think he'd of been right for it. Will have to wait before I judge this new guy, but he does look wierd and far too young, but still! Roll on EMO Who! *sings* Eeeeeemo Whooooo, Emo Who, Emo Who..... *sings* EDIT: Also, how old is his assistant gonna be!! They're traditionally younger, but it won't be by much now! You can bet he'll never get an older assistant like Donna because it would come across just like his mother and would not work! Maybe they are setting it up for the Doctors Daughter to be his companion? and would be a fitting age.

The Terminal Tom Hanks film, was on again last night, and was my second time seeing it. Really like this film. Tom Hanks puts in a great performance. It's a different sort of film which is probably why I like it [as it's a nice change]. Good simple story, emotional, great characters, nice ending. 7.5/10

Fantastic Four - 5/10 First time watching it, thought I'd give it a go at last as it was on TV! Enjoyable enough, it was an alright watch, but really not all that great is it! Doesn't have an epic feel to it in the slightest, the final fight takes place on the corner of some block somewhere and that's it! rubbish! And how come The Invisible Girl says she can't hold back Dooms electricity he's blasting at her, yet at the end she can contain a Super Nova!! True Romance - 6/10 I'm sure many would rate it higher, but for me it was just a good watch. Story was kinda cool and how it all ends up, and the end shootout is pretty epic, but predictable nonetheless. It had it's memorable moments, the ending, the fight with Alabama and 'the Soprano', the rollercoaster etc... and some comedy thrown in to the mix. Great cast too! Also good seeing Michael Rapaport, Brad Pitt, Samuel L Jackson, Gary Oldman etc... in early roles! He Was A Quiet Man - 2/10 Another Christian Slater film. I get the movie, and the off the wall style of the film is interesting, but it's too depressing for my liking! Two Hands - 7/10 OK this film is off the wall too, but this one I enjoyed! and I'd recommend people give it a watch. Heath Ledger's great in the film; makes the character really endearing. Good interesting story, characters, good pace throughout with some great moments, scenes and acting! Bridget Jones' Diary [2]: The Edge of Reason - 7/10 Think what you will, it's an enjoyable, light hearted, funny film!
