  1. We are truely blessed with technology.
  2. Got an email to say that my stuff has been posted. Yaaaaaaaaaaay. It is so very, very nice to actually have the ability to spend some money on something. I'm going to be careful as I still am not earning a lot of money, but I think things are going to get better. Yaaaaay. Quite happy right now about that.
  3. I can't wait to watch the game tonight on Match of the Day. It sounds like this game had everything. Kinda. Brucey is tough. I wouldn't want to piss him off. Although, whenever he speaks, he sounds so softly spoken. I'm watching Sky Sports News right now. They're going to try and get a referee on the phone live later, as they want some clarification on the events of the game. Basically, they want to know if the game should have been stopped momentarily and the ball to be cleared. Again, why one of the Liverpool players didn't have the prescence of mind to clear it themselves is way beyond me.
  4. The Jones injury caused some trouble too! I was expecting Steve Bruce to smack Rafa.
  5. No sympathy at all from me. From what I've seen, they played a 5-4-1 formation today. So, 5 defenders on the field, plus the goalkeeper...surely one of them should have had the prescence of mind to remove the ball. It was right infront of goal! A very good day for United, with Chelsea and Liverpool both losing. Also, Arsenal have 18 points with only 8 games played for them. They're giving a good account of themselves this season.
  6. Dude, that's poor. I watched the game, and I thought Villa gave a good account of themselves. Your defence were on something today...Warnock particularly impressed me. Very good game. Chelsea had a few chances that they should have put away. A very, very good three points for you. I'm very pleased with the United win. I got pretty nervy towards the end when Bolton got a goal back, but I'm glad we finished the game with three points. Valencia scoring the winner, too. Good stuff. Also...Liverpool losing against Sunderland. In...quite bizzare circumstances. The beach ball/balloon was thrown onto the pitch by a Liverpool fan. I'm still watching it to see if the ball touches the ball(oon) or if Glen Johnson touches it last.
  7. That's a good breakdown, and it's the thought process that goes through my head when I make predictions for games. I would do my own breakdown, but I'm tired and my fingers are...wanting to rest...reeally..soon...soooon.
  8. He should just try to be his own player. Easier said than done, I guess. Also, I found this earlier. This is gold. http://www.uefa.com/competitions/wunder17/fixturesresults/round=15339/match=304304/index.html
  9. Saturday West Brom 4 - 1 Reading Arsenal 4 - 0 Birmingham Aston Villa 1 - 3 Chelsea Everton 2 - 0 Wolves Man Utd 2 - 0 Bolton Portsmouth 2 - 2 Spurs Stoke 1 - 2 West Ham Sunderland 2 - 4 Liverpool Sunday Blackburn 2 - 2 Burnley Wigan 2 - 2 Man City Monday Fulham 3 - 1 Hull My predictions. I've got a feeling West Brom will thrash Reading this weekend. On the whole, I think your predictions were pretty sound, DuD. I only ended up changing a few scores that I thought/think will be different.
  10. Now that I'm earning a few pence here and there, I'm going to put aside some money towards Wii games. This is one of them, it needs my cash.
  11. I still think if there had been no Ronaldo then Nani would be much more developed by now. The trouble is, he's seen his countryman do things at United and be successful. So, he's trying so hard to emulate that, especially now that Ronaldo is gone. The most common mistake is that he just over-thinks things. If he worked on his crossing and got more balls into the box first time, or more corners that reached past the first man, then he would be a lot more praised as a player. He can do this stuff, but at the moment he seems to be overcomplicating it and overworking the ball. He has style, which is good, but keep it simple first of all. Do the simple things right. In my opinion, this is why Giggs is still getting played so regularly, because he does the right thing at the right time, in the simplest and most effective way. Nani has got a shot on him, and he seems to have an eye for goal...If he was a little bit taller, bulkier and more composed on the ball, I bet he would have made a decent striker. Hmm, maybe. He hasn't got the right frame for it at all, haha.
  12. You have reached God-like status to me.
  13. Haha, maybe. Still, I want the guy to do well. If scoring goals and playing well for his country is what it takes to get him feeling confident at United, then...ooook. Tomorrow, Bolton. No Rooney, but Van Der Sar is back. Berbatov might be unable to play as his wife is giving/has given birth to their first child. This is a game we could very easily drop points. Also, the first game after internationals, you can never be sure what to expect. I hope the players are feeling up for it.
  14. It is a travesty that "Thriller" is even being linked to this thread, even if it is by thread title and a picture in the first post. One of my favourite songs, and my favourite music video and dance ever. Me and my mate are determined to learn the entire dance. We've got movessss. You better believe! As for this: I am going to make a sound that is almost inaudible and unprounceable. Pftftfttwtftftftftftfgrrrtgodlosers. Try doing that in one breath. Its very hard.
  15. This is so very hard to choose. I can't say I was particularly thrilled with either. I'm with Dan-likes-trees...that Sonic Youth track wasn't great at all. As much as it pains me to say this, I'm going to have to vote for Rasputin. It pains me because listening to that song was like tearing my own intestines out from my feet. Odders, sorry man. Sonic Youth are a good band, but I didn't like the song at all.
  16. Excellent, so it should reach me by Thursday? I'm a bit annoyed at myself for not buying these yesterday or the day before now. Damn, hindsight.
  17. They will be. Today was a bad day and maybe it hasn't been an amazing week. But, things will change. That cuppa and desperate housewives sounds good. Do thaaat naaaw.
  18. I have purchased: and It's about time I bought them on doovde. Had them on video (Taped off the telly) for yeeeears. Only cost about 6 quid online. However... I'm going to see the female next Thursday. I've ordered these off play.com today. I don't know if they'll come in time. Hmm. Does anyone know if I'll get it in time? It says 3-4 working days, which means it will come in time. But...I dunno.
  19. *huggles* It'll be good again, soon. Try to relax this evening. I've got a banging headache and a sore throat. Also, feeling pretty tired. Got a call from my agency this morning asking me if I wanted to go in and do some work, but only as a teaching assistant. They said they were extremely under-staffed, so I went. Got there pretty quickly, but found that they ended up wanting me to teach all day. It was an easy day and I like teaching there, so it went ok. But, I was still feeling a bit ill and crappy from the day before, so now I just feeeeel doubly tired. I was looking forward to my lie-in this morning. Sucksss.
  20. I get your last statement ees a perfect final note for it. Men and women are a different species. Still, my post was only ever meant to be jokey. I never intended for anyone to think "yuck, there he goes again, doing things to females." or something. The somewhat disappointing thing is that, through all of this, Flameboy didn't get any. Infact, did anyone get any? Hands up if you've had sex recently?
  21. In fairness, many people seem to not "get" certain footballers. For me, I cannot stand Peter Crouch. Many people don't "get" Berbatov. So, it's just one of those things, I think.
  22. You're overrated! I quite like the Carew. The name itself reminds me of Cashew...nuts.
  23. Saying that, Nani had a great last game for Portugal. Also, Berba scored a hat-trick. Weekend! Football is back. Internationals are nice, but I think my heart belongs to Saturday football.
  24. Ooooooooooooooo! Hahaha. That is insanely thoughtful. You would make a good lover, Mr. Seven.
