  1. Oh, nigga, pleeease. You disrespect Dragooooo by only typing four o's instead of five. You BITCH. I now urge Cube to go forth and destroy you. Home AND away. So that after you lose your title, I can come along and humiliate you into another 0-0 draw. DRAGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Please don't destroy me.
  2. Not a bad performance, but a 2-0 away defeat. We seemed to be doing fine up until they scored, which wasn't until the 78th minute. I went there looking to score some goals, but maybe that left us exposed at the back. We'll be fine this season, but we've got some very tricky games coming up. Comerade Co-Op away, then the Hammerboys home and away, then Co-Op and Fedex again, this time at home. I'm hoping we can at least get a win or two in these next games. Then, get a pre-season under our belt and look to do something special next season.
  3. Sounds pretty similar to that idea Stan Collymore (I think it was) had. http://forum.football.co.uk/post-905025.html First link I found that related to it. Relegation and promotion are important. It helps to keep the standard of the individual clubs in question and the league itself high. Look at Newcastle, for example. Relegation has allowed the club to rebuild itself and now there's a much better team spirit and structure to the side. Relegation allows teams to do that, but promotion also rewards teams with a shot in the top flight. Getting rid of that is stupid and would ruin football in this country. Also, The Hillsborough files are to be released. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-15339818 Hopefully it's the start of a path which leads Liverpool fans to gain some closure over this. Shouldn't be forgotten, of course.
  4. Hahahahaah. That reminds me of Bo Selecta. The sketch with Mel flicking her bean.
  5. ...FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. I've just signed up to Sainsburys, had the pre-order in my basket, was inputting card details and it told me my basket was empty. Went to add it back in, get told it's not available now. FUCK YOOOOOOOOOOOOU ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!
  6. I'm going to be realistic, because I've just thumped two teams at home whose managers aren't paying attention. So, it was likely I'd get good results there. What will really define my season will be the next 5 games. Not easy at all, three of them being away from home. I could easily lose them all and finish lower down the table, but I'm looking to get something from each game. Spending a lot of time thinking through all the possible tactics and ways to get some good results. It's also just about development really, and forming my own special team. I've got my basic 11 sorted in my mind, but now it's about mixing in those squad players to get their development up. Xpert11. Serious fucking business.
  7. Chuffed with another win, and scoring 6 again. Three wins now, hovering at fourth place. Would be delighted if I could get some more wins. Determined to finish towards the top of the table, and to stay away from the bottom.
  8. I'm waiting for the ball to hit him on the arse and go in. He's got God on his side, that man. Love him. Overall, Liverpool played a better attacking game, but we set ourselves up to frustrate them, which worked. Did think the free-kick for their goal was soft, but the wall was absolutely awful. Giggs is a United legend, but he was off his game today by quite some distance. His passes went astray, he was very immobile, didn't really get forward to support Welbeck and wasn't quick enough to close down from the front. He was a weak link today, as much as it pains me to say. I said before the game that I would have taken a draw, so pleased with the result. I also looked at the line-up and didn't feel all that confident about Giggs or Ferdinand being there. They just haven't got the pace for these types of games. Thought De Gea was outstanding today. Kept us in the game and looked very assured of himself. Also thought Welbeck did a great job upfront on his own, quite an unusual role for him today. He did well and helped Little Pea with his goal. Also, I went for an Arsenal win on that Iknowthescore thing, and thought about putting the banker bonus on it. But, thought better of it and took it off. I've decided not to bet on Arsenal this season. You never know what you'll get. Same with Wigan.
  9. I watched the Scotland game and thought that they put in a brave performance. They certainly grew in confidence as the game went on, it's just too bad that they conceded the first goal really quickly, and that second before half time. Thought they played very well in the second half. Spain are just insane. They could easily fill up two teams and look strong in both. It would have taken something incredible for Scotland to have beaten them, but they put Spain under quite a bit of pressure at times, and they deserved to get a goal. They should be very proud after that performance. Thought Wales did very well to get an away win. These are both two teams on the up, it seems. They both need to just keep exposing their squad to games against tough competitors and they'll gain experience from that, then you never know, they might qualify for the next tournament.
  10. Oh, Hey Paj. How is London/Basingstoke/Papua New Guinea girl?
  11. Fuck yeah, two wins on the bounce, and getting a player into the Xpert11. I wasn't expecting us to score six, but we got lucky as the game was 2-1 at one point, before we scored 4 in the last 20 minutes. My back four seem to be working together quite nicely, with one of my new defenders getting an assist, whilst an old head scored a goal. New midfielder who was thrust into the action got a goal and set one up today, too! Got another winnable game at home next. Then, two harder away games against Fed-ex United and Comerade Co-Op. If I can get somewhere between 4-6 points from the next three games, I'll be happy. Expecting Co-Op to turn us over when we play them.
  12. Just seen that I was chosen for the round 4 manager in Xpert 11. That was nice. I remember looking at the squad and was a bit gutted none of my players were there, and didn't scroll down far enough to see the manager part. Tomorrow...next set of matches. I've finalised my tactics. Hoping for a win, and anything other than that will be a massive disappointment. Come on, troops! DRAGOOOOO!
  13. Both games were very interesting, I thought. England managed to get themselves into some great positions but then kept fucking up by dropping their passes or missing them altogether. France's kicking was also much better than theirs, and they made it count. The poor first half cost England in the end. Wales were brilliant. They're a very brave team that will just keep on fighting 'til the end. The Irish are one hell of a team, so to beat them at this stage is awesome. France next, though.
  14. I've got a 28 6 keeper who I've got no trouble with, so far. Is the skill level limit-less, or is there a limit that players will hit eventually? I'm thinking of just sticking with this guy, til he gets into his mid-30s and then promoting a second keeper. It's not really a priority for me right now.
  15. Yeah, that's what I plan on doing. I need to get the teamwork values up, so building a team that develops together should sort that out. I expect to get hammered somewhere along the line, which will hurt now, but it's good for the team in the longrun. DRAGOOOOO!
  16. Haha, I'll cry when that happens. I've made a bold move and decided to transfer list some of my players, including a midfielder who is 28 7. I really want to get another midfielder in with intelligent/intelligence and preferably stamina, and this one only has heading ability, which isn't really what I'm looking for. My thinking is that I'm going to use this season to develop players and get them working together. Not expecting anything fancy. Just getting into the ropes of the game and building a young team that will last for a long, long time. So, the younger the better for me. They also need skills!
  17. This: is shit when compared to this: or this: Love the other two. But, Arcadium's is terrible.
  18. The Champions League is probably regarded by many to be the most important competition. I'd say many of the England squad are more focused on winning that and proving themselves at Club Level rather than International. Many see International Duty as something they have to do. They're just not into it. Maybe England need to settle on one manager who can inspire them, in the same way that Sir Alex inspires players at United or Dalglish at Liverpool, or even Wenger at Arsenal. The trouble is, there's not many managers of that calibre. And, the trouble is that it's not necessarily the manager's fault, at all. The players need to step up and prove that they want to win a major International competition.
  19. Cheeers. Done. There's just one thing that I've yet to decide, but I'll sort that out later. Pretty confident I can get a victory, and get some youth developed! Is it sad when you treat these players as if they're actually players in real life? I've already got nicknames for some of my lads.
  20. How do you buy a tactics report? Can't seem to find it anywhere.
  21. Ah, cheers for the advice/knowledge, guys. I'm a bit more clued up now! Thanks. ReZ: If you think about it in terms of actual real-life football, a team would get torn to pieces if they played 3-4-3...especially away from home. It's a very attack formation. Also, who is the owner of Ganja Farmers? Just curious as I have them next. Not sure which user from here it is.
  22. The problem is that everyone can see our frailties. As soon as Montenegro saw them, they knew they could get something. Just looking at that Spain squad, and they can afford to leave players out. The fact that Silva and Fabregas are really only just breaking through into the national team says a lot. We're not in the same category as Spain, and a lot of that is down to the mentality. Everytime Spain walk on the field, they demand the ball, dominate possession and have a certain arrogance - they know they're good and that football is their game. We don't have that. We're not arrogant enough (in the right places) on the field. Everything is a struggle. I can't really remember the last time I saw England play a game where the team, the collective thought to themselves that they owned the field and it was their right to win. You need that desire if you want to win games, and trophies. Wales did pretty well tonight, good to see both Ramsey and Bale getting on the scoresheet. You can definitely see that there are some special players there. Just gotta keep plugging away and winning games, and hopefully get some more younger players through.
  23. That rant is the best thing I've seen ever. 1:57 killed me. Obama, you acting like a black president, pay your fucking bills. Aahahaah.
  24. Excuses, excuses. I'll take the points any way that I can. But yes, loving it so far. Question: Is there any other way to train your players apart from form training? How do you raise the player's skill level? Does that automatically happen at the end of each season or something?
  25. I knew I would be addicted. I didn't want to start it, for that very reason. The past few nights, I've been nervously staying up til midnight, to ensure that my transfers made it through. I've been putting in random search criteria into the transfer section, hoping to find bargains. I'm cumming day and niiight.
