  1. That passage of play looked like it was being played on a pitch with low gravity. I didn't even realise the ball had went in when it did. It just seemed to float everywhere. It's amazing how Norwich and Swansea will both probably be fine, yet QPR are the ones who have spent money and brought more players in, yet are struggling.
  2. Happy Birthday, Green Ranger. The 6 doubles up as your IQ and Mental Age.
  3. Happy Belated Birthday, Diageooooooo.
  4. Paj wins at life. Both are brilliant films. I have a huge thing for The Fly. I don't mean the creature, I mean the film. Cos having a thing for that bloodsucker (aha) would be wrong. Also, The Fifth Element is silly, but I love eet. I still think they ad-libbed the whole thing, otherwise that's some great script-writing.
  5. I watched it all. Is this for the first Norwich goal, where it looks like it's going out of play before being hooked back as a makeshift-overheard-kick-cross-thing?
  6. The Adebayor/Saha strike partnership analysis on Match of the Day is really good. Liverpool were definitely missing something like this today. Not sure what Chelsea's lineup was today, but Torres has seemed quite isolated for most of the season. Maybe having somebody there as a foil would've helped his season turn out differently.
  7. Would've thought the United/Liverpool game would've been on first. Unless they're going to masturbate over the HARRYENGLAAAAAAND thing.
  8. The big issue for Spurs is next year. This year has gone really well and it's likely you'll get into the Champions League next year, bar any monumental fuck ups. The issue is the strikeforce for me, since Ade and Saha are on loan deals. What will you do for goals next season? It's all ok at the moment, but they haven't nailed the striking options down yet.
  9. I thought that was sarcasm. Definitely wasn't expecting that scoreline before halftime. Fuck. Saha is great when he has the service. Just didn't get that at Everton at times.
  10. Just throwing this out there to Liverpool fans: Has there been any real change since Kenny has come in? I don't think the players he's brought in have done a whole lot, with the exception of Enrique, Bellamy and Suarez. The tactics don't seem to be working and Liverpool have 3 wins in their last 10 games.
  11. Ah, he'll probably be off. The more I see him play, the more I don't think he'll make it. He hasn't got the approach play or the touch to really make it at United.
  12. Hernandez is going nowhere. Possibly Berba. Or Paul Pogba. More likely to be Pogba. Both are not getting games, but Berba does put a shift in when he plays these days. Can't fault him. I'm happy he's not whining like a bitch like Tevez did. Very professional. Today is a massive day for the bottom of the table. Bolton vs Wigan and Blackburn vs QPR. Everton against Chelsea too, and Spurs vs Newcastle later. Great day for football.
  13. Just do what Spurs do and play Gerrard off Suarez/Carroll like they play Van Der Vaart off Ade. At least that's better than what they're currently doing. As a United fan, I'm delighted that we've got Welbeck and Rooney gelling together. I'm a little concerned with how little game-time Hernandez and Berba are getting as a result of it, mind. Four different and great strikers.
  14. I was looking forward to seeing Bellamy against Rafael, because both are in form. But, was very surprised to see Bellamy wasn't in the first 11. Massive mistake, in my opinion. Should've started. Also, going with 1 up top just isolated Suarez, because Kuyt isn't a quick enough guy to get up in support. Downing does have some talent, but the work rate doesn't seem to be there. He didn't get forward to help out Suarez and feed him any decent crosses. He also didn't track back to help out Enrique. Massive difference between some of the United and Liverpool players today. Scholes and Carrick kept the midfield quiet, including Gerrard who was playing far too deep. The only two players who I think looked comfortable or played reasonably well were the two Liverpool centre-halves. I'm a little surprised we didn't throw on Hernandez in the end, when Liverpool got the equaliser. But, Fergie must've thought things were going ok, and Welbeck held the ball up well.
  15. Spearing did look bad today, I agree. However, the worst surely has to be Jordan Henderson. I didn't even notice he was on the field today.
  16. Well, Suarez had the chance to bury and defuse this whole situation just by shaking the hand. The line would have been drawn. He didn't do that. Evra was booed in quite a classless way by the Liverpool supporters at Anfield the other week. I'm sure he just wants to move on from this, too. Today, Suarez denied him that opportunity. What you saw at the end was Evra's release of all that emotion. Clearly happy with winning the game, especially after losing at Anfield and perhaps being somewhat responsible for the winning goal then. This game has a history of being intense and it's a great rivalry. He supported with the United supporters. If he ran up to Suarez ala Keown/Van Nistelrooy and jumped in his face, then I'd have a problem with it. He didn't do that.
  17. Valencia is the kind of man Stewart Downing needs to become. If he did, it would be great for Liverpool and England. Can't see it happening, though. He was poor today.
  18. It was an emotional game and a big victory for him. If you watch it again, you'll see he actually celebrates with different sections of United fans. He doesn't walk up to celebrate directly at Suarez. He's celebrating with the fans. Nothing wrong with that, imo. Anyway, thought Liverpool were terrible today. I don't mean that lightly. Downing was dreadful and offered Enrique no support all game, which helped Valencia. I thought Rio and Rafael looked very good in defence, although Rio let himself down a bit at the end with the Suarez goal. Scholes and Carrick looked solid in the middle. The attacking four of Giggs, Rooney, Welbeck and Valencia were great and we should have scored more. Welbeck has really come on and it's encouraging to see him getting picked for big games now without even it being considered a gamble. Has to be one of the most improved players of recent years.
  19. Judging from Dazzybee's spelling, I can only assume that Harry Redknapp has joined up to the N-E forums.
  20. What a horrible, horrible excuse for a man. He admitted to calling Evra something, which Evra in turn found offensive. In credit to Patrice, he said he didn't think Suarez was racist, but if he found Suarez's words offensive, he has every right to report it. He did the right thing. The rest is up to the FA. THEY banned Suarez, not Evra. Evra looked visibly upset when he was taking his place on the pitch afterwards and I feel for him. Suarez on the other hand...if I had offended somebody and was punished, the least I would do is man the hell up and say sorry to the guy. Why would you refuse to shake the hand of a guy you were found guilty of racially abusing? It doesn't help Suarez's case at all, and in fact makes the whole club look bad for supporting this kind of behaviour. It could have ended today and a line would have been drawn under it. But, no. Further shame to the club. This is not in any way professionally, or morally right, on any level.
  21. I'm going to be the equivalent of Portsmouth. It'll be a fairytale getting to the final and winning it. Followed by years of mediocrity and financial ruin. It'll be ok, though. Because by then I'll have jumped ship and will be managing Haden Utd.
  22. Yeah, dude. Everybody knows you're meant to refer to them as "darkies." You can also call them dark chocolate, as that has the same effect. It's ok. I can say this stuff, because I spoke to a darkie once. trolololo
  23. Not sure if I can, but I'd like to take part in any cups that are happening, dude. I wanna wiiiiiiiin.
  24. Got a win today, which I was very surprised about. Thought I would get turned over at home, was expecting a 3-0 defeat. Delighted with the victory. Even happier to get two of my players into the Xpert team. I didn't choose my team until this morning. Three games left, but I'm worried about a few of my players, cos their DVs are low. I'm probably going to need to mix things up a bit just to get them some game time.
