The most beautiful album in my collection would have to be Agaetis Byrjun by Sigur Ros. It's like the soundtrack to an incredible dream. If you close your eyes while you listen, your mind is transported to epic locations - snow-covered mountain tops, rolling oceans, magnificent glaciers. I used to listen to it on the way to my exams; it really helped to calm the nerves, and provided me with one last moment of escape.

It seems the only sport that ever seems to get a mention around here is football, and while it's a good game, personally I find watching Rugby Union much more interesting. So as the thread title asks - are there any fans here? I'm a Sale Sharks supporter myself. The ground is only a couple of miles away from where I live, and the ticket prices are reasonable, so I go to most of the home games. We're fourth in the premiership table at the moment, although we're level on points with Gloucester in third and only a point behind Wasps and Leicester in second and first respectively; so we're closer to the top than fourth might suggest.

I get nervous when I'm walking past a large group of chavs at night, but aside from that, I'd say I'm fairly confident walking the streets. Although, having said that, I do have my paranoid moments every now and again; for example, sometimes I'll be convinced that someone's following me. ^_~

I don't think I've bought a magazine in over a year. I just don't have the money to be buying them, especially considering that at least on the videogames side of things, it's hard to find a quality magazine for under £4 thesedays.

You make a good point. It's very unusual for a codename to end up being the final title for a console anyway, so chances are, Nintendo will be hard at work thinking up another name for the system.

I've never really been much of a fan of VGcats. With the exception of one or two of their comics, I simply fail to see the humour in their work. While it might not be videogame-related, I think PBF is easily the funniest comic strip on the net. It's just consistantly hilarious.

It's always so touching to hear such honest reflections. While it may be this guy who is ultimately to blame for his losses, you can't help but feel sorry for him and his situation. He obviously wasn't in a clear state of mind during his addiction, and it makes me wish that more was done to address what is quite clearly a serious issue.

Yeah, vB is easily superior to Xsorbit in all regards. I was under the username "cold_hands" back on the Xsorbit boards, but I suppose I was more of a lurker than anything. This change has given me an incentive to come out of the shadows... at least for awhile. Is there any chance that the table width could be extended more to the edge of the page? As of now the table is only using something like 3/4 of the available width; it makes it all seem a little bit squashed.

I've never tried smoking, and I never intend to do so. It annoys me how there's still this "cool" image that surrounds it, despite the blatant health risks.
