I think pipex has somehow found a way of throttling encrypted traffic also, well seems to be the rumours on some info i found via google. I tried the suggested number, and also on the exceptions as jordan said.. its kinda gone a bit whacky on me, went to 50 then its down to 20 on one download...and the other one is at 1.2 (actually make that 0.2) Makes you wonder if its worth paying all this money for "unlimited" internet. What a con. Its not like i'm taking the pure biscuit out of it either, i don't think i go anywhere near 30gb in a month. we got a new router a week ago, and all the firmware was updated then

Could be the cables going from the power button to motherboard are faulty, or as someone suggested, faulty psu.. psu's really don't last. Unusual problem to say the least xD

using a netgear router - don't know the model off-hand. I haven't actually forwarded any ports myself but it seems to be okay here. It isn't me that administers our router, so i might have to ask my dad nicely. xD A what where now?

Ok, got a wee issue with UTorrent here folks: as per picture above, i'm getting very silly download speeds. I've done the following: Used a different port number, checking the port is forwarded (it is) Tried enabling / disabling just about all of the options, no change... Different download sources, all of similar speeds (all of which had a good strength). Tried google for solutions but no real help. ISP - Pipex (1mb unlimited service) I'm getting a 213k/bits p/s download rate, seems typical of a 2mb connection but who am i to complain! Any more ideas?

Yup, same here. I'm mostly Northern Irish with a bit of English / Scottish threw in somewhere. Its a rather strange combination. I really like broad belfast accents.

I'm working during the day, studying a degree at night. Suffering a lot from arthritis. On stupid amounts of medications - actually a mild form of chemo - which makes my body completely exhausted. Its not improving and my specialist wants to put me on something different, which makes me feel like i'm running around in circles. My purpose right now is trying not to crack under all the pressure. /moan -
I agree with you here mate. I don't set out to ruin other people threads like some people are. Yeah you know my (and other LP fans) intelligence, due to one small fact. YEAH. Why don't you just fuck off already? This should have been long locked by now.

We have this one here, The-Ironflame is right, they are like black glossyness, and do get dusty and fingerprinted real quickly. But other than that, its a fantastic tv.

I really have nothing against you - but what the ..... was that about? Is it really necesary posting a load of threads slagging off a band? Its out of order. Ok you don't like them thats completely fair, but enoughs enough. *ahem* On topic. I've listened to it more, i'd probably say i like Hybrid Theory/Meteora better, but as someone said before better to release something different than the same old stuff, theres a lot of bands that do it. Just to illustrate my obsession with Linkin Park:

Yay! I'm so on agreement there, both my HT and meteora CDs are wrecked from the amount of use they get Hybrid Theory EP is also awesome. I love this new album. I must admit that it does take a while to grow on you tho, but my favourite track is Bleed It Out and What I've Done. And just one more thing..... I <3 LINKIN PARK!!!!

I would suggest a slight improvement to the power supply, maybe closer to 650/700w, considering you want to use a e6600 and a 8800gts. Asus motherboards are definately recommended from me anyway.
