Sorry can I clarify here: You have a PC, which you want to upgrade? You want to upgrade the cpu and not the fan? 1. Why on earth don't you upgrade the fan, fans wear out and if they die can cause you problems. (especially if the current one happens to be a fair age) 2. if you replace the cpu, you have to replace the thermal paste and refit the fan.. regardless of whether it is a new fan. Ram is usually easy if you are careful and use a STATIC STRAP (very important) but there's a fine balance between not enough force, and too much force with all of the components in a pc. If you aren't careful they can break.

Have you ever tried to seat a cpu, and get the fan on correctly? I don't think you have if you can say that. You have to be so incredibly careful with processors and ram, you can fry them with a single bit of static.

I've been feeling really spaced lately. I get moments where my whole body feels really swollen... Its very hard to explain, it feels like my veins are swelling, and i can feel my heart beating very solidly.. I was told that blood inflammation is very common in my condition, and my blood inflammation is usually between 27-35, when it should be around the 10-15 mark... Other than that my day was sitting in work, with the sun shining outside. Damn working. *shakefist*

Gah that sounds rough mate Ema should be given to the colleges themselves (to provide books etc) and students should be given bus passes and free meals if neccesary. I hear of too many kids buying games and crap with their ema, and it makes me a bit pissed, to say the least, that my tax is going to that. People really don't understand the value of money 'til they work really fucking hard and get it all swiped away from them via tax. =(

I'd have no bother getting it done, just my wrists swell when i have bad arthritic-ness, and i imagine that would put stress on the skin where the piercing is, and push it outwards.. I find with enough care to piercings they don't generally go wrong.. Even my spotty nose is getting there with a bit of extra tlc

the rook and daith look pretty awesome. Oh yes, surgical spirits are not recommended by piercists. If you use them too strong you can actually burn your skin. I used savlon (in pure form from the bottle) on my lip piercing, it was HELL. I went in to see the piercist and he was actually shocked at how badly it had burned my skin. Never again. I now only ever use it every couple of days if there's a spot, or its looking very irritated. I water it down loads too. Salty water is most definitely the way to go, its natural and doesn't sting. @ shorty; double lip piercing - way to go!! Snakebite style i presume? *thumbs up* I would get that done, but 1) i had hell with my first one, 2) I'm beginning to wonder if I'll look daft with the double nostril and a double lip.... haha. I really wants! but my arthritis wouldn't approve, my wrists have a tendency to swell, and its a surface piercing and would probably die anyway.

Nightwoolllff take a picture! Also I think warm salty water works the best ^__^ savlon maybe if you have an infection or something, but it usually doesn't come to that. Just be aware it takes a lot of cleaning, and quite a bit of crap will come out of it.

I got my ears pierced 3 times with gold (I'm nearly sure it wasn't plated gold, cause my dearest mother looked out for the earrings when I was 13) and I was very careful with cleaning etc. It was like a hideous burning feeling and I had to take them out every time. I got some kind of silver studs this time round, stainless steel or tintanium or some shizzle. And I've had no problem with them at all. And I've not been especially super careful like I had to be with the gold ones. All my nose and lip piercings were done with the same.

That sounds like a good idea. I was thinking more along the lines of the evils who won't participate during the day, to try and not be noticed. But some of the taskmasters have noted that they are always very good at sending in pm's. I'm not of the opinion that they should always have to vote every day (as short says, 3 point vote, very obvious!) but at least posting something! Its very difficult as an investigator, as to who to investigate. I've found picking the quiet ones don't always work as they can be good, but have nothing to contribute.

Could be an allergy or a slight irritation to the metal? I got my ears pierced in gold studs (ofc everyone generally thinks gold is the safest to use) but noooo! I actually had a bubble of infection inside my lobe just under my piercing. That was nasty.

orrr... could randomly distribute power to someone in the same alliance? If there was a blacklist people might get pissed and stuff and feel excluded :/ Even though I think its a very good idea, and they totally deserve it. One game at a time is an interesting thought actually. It can be a bit hard to keep up with two if you are alive in them both. EDIT: beggilax, the problem is people DO sign up when they can't be bothered. We wouldn't need this discussion if they didn't.
