Yay, obligatory game of Gears for a new 360 owner tonight then?
-
Any of them I think, just plug it in the router and see what happens.
-
Can't you plug it into one of the ethernet ports on your adaptor Fresh? That's what I did.
-
So what you're saying is they could still release the two original Playstation games, each full price on the Wii? I think Square Enix would still make the effort of translating the Final Mix content for other territories though since they never saw the light of day outside Japan, if they were to be re-released on the Wii, but that's just wishful thinking. Either way I'm fine, I still have all the games and love them, I just thought it would pretty sensible and cool for Nintendo Fans to be able to try out this awesome series.
-
Argh, if you properly read all of what we said and then you'll realise that your post was irrelevant, and to correct you, they're also working on 'It's a Wonderful World' too.
-
There's still an alright chance that may happen, Square Enix recently said that they would be re-releasing more older titles didn't they?
-
Does anyone know how big the matches in the Beta will be, I mean how many players maximum can play altogether? 16 vs. 16 would be awesome although it's probably just gonna be 8 vs. 8.

I'm kinda confused by your first paragraph but anyway heres what I have to say: Those realistic FMV's are a common trait in Kingdom Hearts, the game opens with an FMV, then ends with one and then at the end of the credits hints at what the nest game could be like: Please do not watch these if you don't want the game spoiled. Kingdom Hearts: Opening Ending Secret Ending Kingdom Hearts 2: Opening Ending Secret Ending Final Mix Ending (Sorry if you found all those links unecessary Pedro) So in Kingdom Hearts you always have these realistic FMVs but they don't mean anything by the presentation, In Kingdom Hearts 2 you see the Secret Ending to the original redone in the sequel in in-game graphics, therefore even though the Knights are presented in a realistically rendered FMV in the KH2 Secret Ending this doesn't mean anything, it's just very pretty fan-serivice for people like me that can't wait for the sequel. For all we know the game could be on any platform. As for the Kingdom Hearts Team I've also just remembered they are also making that DS game; It's a Wonderful World, so that's two games for the team on the agenda, unless another team is working on the next Kingdom Hearts game like how Jupiter made Chain of Memories I honestly believe the next game is still being designed, Nomura has also said a few times that he's taking a short break from the series. So if that helps the special FMV ending has no bearing on what console the next game will be on, and it's very hard to determine what is actually happening with the series at the time being, although apparently new Kingdom Hearts projects that are in the works will be announced by the end of the Summer. I have a feeling an anime may be in the works but I'm probably wrong.

I think it's very unlikely that the next Kingdom Hearts even has even begun development on the PS3 yet, the Kingdom Hearts Team (Headed by Tetsuya Nomura) have been working on Final Mix + and Versus XIII, therefore the game probably isn't even out of the design stages yet. But yes you're right in saying that there is going to be a spin-off game that will probably have a darker tone than the other games, I do believe though personally that this game will definately be on a platform other than the Playstation 3, it may be on the DS just to play things safe which Square-Enix are very fond of doing.

Overrated and underrated Nintendo classics
McMad replied to mcj metroid's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Actually I would think of Fire Emblem being an epic RPG instead if that were the case. Well fine alright, I don't see this agreement going anywhere productive so we'll just agree to disagree, I like Batallion Wars and the fact that Nintendo tried to do something new while you would have preferred it if they sticked to the traditional Advance Wars formula, fair enough. -
As long as the next game isn't on PS3 I'm happy. Wii or DS would be the most likely consoles for the series because they are successful in all territories and both systems have the best user-base for a Kingdom Hearts game which is aimed at younger gamers... Although many nostalgic teenagers play it too... I can't wait to see the Playstation-Kingdom-Hearts fanboys' reactions when this game doesn't turn up on PS3 though.

Overrated and underrated Nintendo classics
McMad replied to mcj metroid's topic in General Gaming Discussion
You need to think of it less as Advance Wars on consoles and more as just its own game, then you can truly appreciate it. I think Advance Wars will remain on handhelds and Batallion Wars will remain on the consoles, so a DS sequel will be much more likely instead. -
Overrated and underrated Nintendo classics
McMad replied to mcj metroid's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Just because you prefer the way the Avance games play out doesn't mean the whole series should be canned, the original was great fun for those who didn't think of it as an Advance Wars game. Batallion Wars became great fun later on in the game and was very challenging at points, the only problem with the game is that it was too short and there was too little content, with Online Play and probably at lot more missions going to be added to the sequel I think Batallion Wars will be a great success among hardcore Nintendo fans as long as it is released at the right time. And what the hell is Master Wars? -
The only significant franchise Camelot has is Golden Sun, that's it, Shining Force belongs to Sega and every other title the company has made recently have been Mario sports titles. And how are their developers better in your opinion? I remember hearing pretty average stuff about the last few games Camelot made; Mario Sports games. And ideas? Some of the main criticisms of Toadstool Tour and Power Tennis were for not doing much new compared to the N64 titles. I think this probably boils down just to that fact that you like Golden Sun more than Baten Kaitos. Fair enough, Golden Sun may be better than Baten Kaitos but In my opinion Nintendo has purchased the better company. And I still think that we'll be seeing more Nintendo titles out of Camelot anyway.

I'm a year before my GCSEs, doing coursework and preparing for my RE GCSE I'm taking a year early, and I ran 1500 metres today in 5.58 minutes which I'm pretty pleased with. A lot of the time I feel confused and suspicious for no reason, and I have the problem of caring too much about what other people think of me, funnily though I rarely ever get angry when I should, although I do have a problem of using swear-words very casually. I feel pretty good about myself in general, I think I'm doing well in school, I got merits in both my last Music Examinations, although I've decided to stop playing the Piano for now, I'm happy with the people I know, I'm not thinking about the future just yet, and I like the way I live my life, I am happy. Sorry if I'm coming off as a prick but I just thought I'd geniunely express where I am in my life at the moment.

I told my friend Stephen to fuck off when he threw a rubber at me today. It felt alright.

Damn sounds like I missed out, meh I would've sucked hard anyway.

Overrated and underrated Nintendo classics
McMad replied to mcj metroid's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Overrated: Pokemon Sure it's a fun and addictive game but the fact that millions of people never get tired of buying the same game again and again annoys me when there's far better games out there that shouldn't be failures when this game does nothing new but still sells by the fuckload. Underrated: Battalion Wars The original was a great success in nearly replicating the awesomeness of the hand-held games, Thank God they're making a sequel that can finish the job the original began. -
Realised you guys were playing the game but I just couldn't join, can you only join the game through the host then? Meh, I've given up.
-
Is the game over? There's nothing for me to join online...
-
The Bard has some lag issues methinks, our game just ended because of horrible lag but I think he's gone to play FEAR now, oh well, I'm still up for some Gears fun if other people are though.
-
Camelot is pretty much a second party company to Nintendo anyway, why would Nintendo need to spend money on them needlessly? I'm sure they probably have something up their sleves for the Wii or DS at least, although they have been a bit quiet in the past few years...

[Bloomberg] Nintendo working on 45 Wii titles, 79 DS titles
McMad replied to Teppo Holmqvist's topic in Nintendo Gaming
So the Nintendo developed Wii titles we know about but haven't be released yet are: 1. Super Mario Galaxy 2. Metroid Prime 3 3. Smash Bros Brawl 4. Disaster 5. Project Hammer 6. Big Brain Academy 7. Batallion Wars 2 8. Mario Strikers Charged 9. Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles 2 10. Forever Blue 11. Mario Party 8 12. Donkey Kong Bongo Blast 13. Wii Music 14. Wii Health Pack 15. Wii MotorSports (Wii Plane may now be a fully fledged Pilotwings sequel though) 16. Animal Crossing And maybe some of those Wii titles out of the 45 may be games that haven't been released in all territories yet like Paper Mario, Fire Emblem and Pokemon. So there's a good 25 Wii games in development we know nothing about. I'd be willing to bet at least half are sequels in running series: StarFox, Mario Kart, Zelda and F-Zero, and the other half are new IPs and Touch Generations (Brain Age, Nintendogs etc.) titles. Looking good. -
Awesome news, can't wait to see what Nintendo has planned for this Studio.

The Official N-Europe Never-Ending Story.
McMad replied to triforcemario's topic in General Chit Chat
As McMad read the mess that is the 'Never Ending Story' he felt a part of himself die inside, and then decided to make himself feel better by playing Counter Strike... (haha try continuing this biatches)
