Oh boy, just so so stupid... so 3ds had the nEw Pokemon last year, they get a slightly newer version of the same game, and they et virtual console release. Switch doesn't get any traditional Pokemon game at all... when there's actually be a reason for people to get a tweaked version of a game they've already bought. Just mental. Also funny that serebi tries hunting he knows stuff and it's all exciting, and yet again completely wrong not a dig serebi, I find it quite charming.

Yep, positivity and love for games and such were shat on so frequently, people left and just stopped. This place needs a serious injection of passion. I left for a month, didn't care, came back to organise online games and get excited for e3!!

I highly doubt it it'll be a switch exclusive, the best we can hope for is 3ds and switch; I fear it'll just be for 3ds in a classic nintendo head-slapping moment (cue "it's not Nintendo it's game freak....")

But haven't they already done the work on the emulator as they released them on the PS4? So just porting the emulator from that!

Yeah I noticed that (and got destroyed by level 5 version), I presumed that was what difficulty you had it on in the game. maybe not, but jus presumed it was the boss.

I have my kid on my own all weekend so today's 1pm was probably my only chance to play (yes, I timed his nap so he'd be asleep), I think the game is pretty incredible actually. The strategy can be really complex, the characters are amazing and it just feels fun and satisfying to play. The fact we'll be getting extra content is just perfect too. Anyone else find it really really weird they have the end boss in the test punch though? Literally showing everything the game has to offer... Actually, one thing which is really really annoying, the single player doesn't have a story or endings. The characters, world and rules are so interesting, is love to know more about everything.

The end of the year is definitely not much closer than I think. Considering we expected it at launch, an E3 'download now' is what I expect.

What is undecided? If they're going to do it? When they're going to do it? When they're going to announce it?

The whole virtual console thing is very worrying. NES games being for this service makes loads of sense, most of the are pretty bad so getting them free is nice, with added online. Weird originally it said SNES games would have online features and now SNES may not feature at all... Switch is a perfect console for me, being able to play nes snes n64 gamecube wii and handheld games would be utterly incredible, and I thought was an obvious sure fire thing. But it's all worrying... What's nice is they are getting all this, arms and platoon info out the way, saving E3 for the games!! Also makes me wish Sony did a cheap version like this. I don't even subscribe to plus anymore at the minute, but the games have been pretty much awful for me for over a year, I don't really voice chat anyway, not sure why it's so high.... if they did a barebones £20 version like this that'd be perfect!!

Pretty much yeah. I guess it's to ease the transition... Wonder if the voice chat service will launch with splatoon? Can't see Mario kart or arms working with it unfortunately... going to be yet another baby step I fear.

You get one free with the iPhone. This is fucking abysmal. So we were all wondering How we were going to listen to in game and voice chat. Well This monstrosity solves that.... Not ideal. But I'd always rather have one ear piece and listen to the sound from sound system anyway.

Ok coincidentally I'm at the last chapter of the first game. Very good. Destroying my PS3 backlog, otherwise if go straight into s2 on PS4. Didn't even realise the third was out. Anyone tried the iPad versions of these games?

Do you get better endings the higher the difficulty?

We already knew there was voice chat in it. They'd already confirmed it. What's worrying me is can you voice chat with friends OUTSIDE of private games?

As nando said. Ultimately it's the button your finger naturally rests on in thumbs up mode. They make it really co fusing by saying it's the top button, but in thumbs up mode it's actually the right on. Ultimately, the closest to your left fingers as they wrap around.
