  1. I guess we'll find out in 2019 when it comes out
  2. But aren't the levels more or less identical? I'm talking about a proper sequel, not just a character swap. By the time all their updates will have come out it would have been three years, surely enough time for a brand new Shovel Knight 2 to be made, which I suspect would have gone down a lot better.
  3. It's such a shame they're wasting their time with these pointless add-ons instead of just making a sequel. It's two years since release and all that time could have been put towards making Shovel Knight 2. All because of a few Kickstarter stretch goals they threw in at the last minute.
  4. It's more about making money and less about giving gamers a choice, was my point. So a console that's four times more powerful than it's predecessor isn't a new gen? Right. Nothing's been "explained", things have been suggsted and opinions have been shared, but nothing's been explained, thanks
  5. I'd say this is about making money, pure and simple. It's also a useful way of rebooting this gen's console war that Xbox had clearly lost. They had to do something and are banking on raw power. Let's see how the Scorpio does against the Neo. It'll be a new gen in everything but name.
  6. Maybe a Remastered, Game of the Year, Day 1, all DLC included Definitive Edition. The industry hasn't had one of those out in a few weeks...
  7. I can't get over how ugly it looks. Those explosions especially.
  8. I'm a huge Megaman fan but I'd decided against buying this game even before the reviews. I just don't think it looks particularly fun? Visually looks like a very cheap iOS game too, which is a huge turn on. No idea where all that money went.
  9. They should do similar to Twilight Princess on Gamecube and release the Wii U version a month or two later. A bit dodgy but it would make the most business sense.
  10. The trailer is now Nintendo's most watched YouTube video ever with 6.3 million views
  11. It's just the capture/gif conversion. Personally I think it looks beautiful, and like Wind Waker will age a lot better than a more "realistic" style. I only posted the gifs to show how cool the action can be, or in the case of the second gif, how beautiful the world is.
  12. Jump to 10:57, wow!! So cool They make a great point about systems stacking on top of each other to make memorable moments. I recommend watching to hear all the crazy things that can happen, from about 9:30 onwards. That's probably what Eurogamer was talking about in terms of exceeding Witcher in some aspects. Love the part where they chop down the trees to make a bridge on the river to reach the raft.
  13. Zelda does many great things that Witcher doesn't touch. It's the interactivity with the land in this case that sets this Zelda apart, that's probably what the Eurogamer article meant, but they're very different games that do different things brilliantly.
  14. You could take a site like NintendoLife saying that it exceeds the intricacies of Skyrim and Witcher 3 with a pinch of salt, but coming from Eurogamer is high praise indeed. Still can't get over that stampede of people rushing to play it. And to think, we've only seen 1% of the game according to Miyamoto. It's the equivelent of E3 in 1998 going mad over a tiny corner of Hyrule Field from Ocarina of Time and nothing else, without having seen anything of the rest of the game. So exciting...
  15. Fantastic comments about the game, great find @kav82. Fears that it couldn't live up to Witcher 3 appear misplaced now.

Definitely getting this, looks great. Might have to play Journey first though!
  17. I think so, it's in various gameplay demos like this one Haha just read that if you cook a meal with incompatible bits of food, you either end up crafting the "Dubious food = It's too gross to even look at. A bizarre smell issues forth from this heap. Eating it won't hurt you though... probably." for a full heart recovery or the "Failed Experiment: A dish gone awry after mixing conflicting ingredients. It doesn't taste great, but as they say, beggars can't be choosers." for a quarter heart recovery
  18. The way the fire rod works in this game is very cool, looks like something out of Wind Waker, which is fine by me.
  19. All I'm saying is, if the storyline (ie. the overall narrative) of this game demands a desolate Hyrule in ruin, with Link tasked with returning it to its former glory, then I want the NPCs in the game to reflect that, and I'm sure they will.
