Even if you knew it was doomed to fail? Is it not best to nip it in the bud now rather than in 6 months, a year, 5 years, when both parties are more emotionally invested, making the inevitable even more brutal?

I said main games wouldn't work, but Pokémon lends itself to many different genres, as seen with the spin-offs, but when you're having trainers catch Pokémon and the like, each spin-off game has kept the core of Pokémon within it. This really lacks it.

This game seemns like a complete missed opportunity and has totally ignored the entire aspects of what makes Pokémon Pokémon. It lacks PVP battles. Gym battles have terrible mechanics and seem shallow as fuck. There's no raising of your own Pokémon, to evolve you just need to catch more of the same species. It's literally Ingress with a Pokémon skin. It should have been Pokémon with an Ingress twist.

It just isn't meant to be. There are reasons behind her not wanting kids and they won't change. Don't you guys miss the times I was moaning about striking out? I sure do haha

She's mid-20s and is dead-set against it. Ideally I would throw caution to the wind and go with it just for fun, but this has a ridiculous chance of going the distance if I did and it's just doomed from the get-go. We click on every level except this big one.

Na it's definitely a no-go. But hell, it broke me out of the slump of rejections and no matches on any dating sites. Showed me that people could actually be interested in me
