Thing is, the QR Codes, or AR Markers as they're called, don't activate the Pokémon here. In fact, scanning all of them is quite possibly the worst thing you could do

The way they film it isn't in order, the pirate episode for example was one of the last episodes filmed. The series has been finished since before it started airing

I hate people with dogs. Our ex neighbours were chavs, they had their friend who had a bulldog. They decided it'd be fun to set it loose in our garden to chase our goat. The goat was terrified and fell while running away, causing internal bleeding and its demise.

I think it's more that as each series went on, ratings dropped gradually as the weather got nicer (barring major media events such as the surprise regeneration cliffhanger in The Stolen Earth). Unfortunately, this half series got hit by some really nice weather, but has still maintained a decent 7-8 million average Now, with half the series in the autumn, they don't have to contend with that.
