I wasn't moaning. I actually was out away from those friends on Tuesday and I froze so I came here to ask for advice on what to actually do in those situations :P Didn't come in moaning and wasn't the one who brought them up :p Don't make me turn all Kurtle on you :p

One of them is "over" going out for drinks. He was never really a club person anyway, but now he wont even meet in the pub for a quiet one unless there are mitigating circumstances. This is why it's hard for me to meet people

In my close social group, yeah they all do Hence their lack of incentive. That said, one of them is up for going out most of the time, but suffers money problems. He was meant to go out with my Portsmouth friends and I on Tuesday but couldn't as the bank holiday delayed his money getting in.

Advice can be utilised practically in real life situations

Bad Pokémon-related puns aside :p, thanks for the advice guys, I shall try to heed it, but I'll still have the concerns. While yes, it could be an honest mistake if they have a boyfriend, if they are inebriated then their moral compass is slightly askew and they are more prone to violence, regardless of if it's an honest mistake or not and I don't want to be permanently damaged and scarred just because I was hitting on a girl, and I don't have weight behind me to defend myself anymore. I know that risk is a part of life, but if something hinders my future prospects, then what's the point? These are the situations my mind goes to. I'm fairly imbalanced, mentally, if you have yet to work that out. I take pride in it. My brother got it printed onto a mug for my birthday. You know you're doing something right if you're called a tyrannical despot :P

That doesn't ease my concerns at all, if anything it just made them worse :P They'd find that I run the site, they'd find people calling me a thief based on actions when I started the site in 1999, they'd find people calling me an arrogant prick, then they'd find this True...I will give it a go next time, providing I'm of an inebriation level where I'm not overanalysing. Problem is, next time may not be for months :/

I don't like being out on my own, it gets boring quickly and is just sad I have tried a couple of times, but I don't really like to as it destroys the first impression. I sly it in when they've gotten to know me a bit so they know I'm a great guy despite that

Will give it a go next time those mates are in town, or next time I'm in Portsmouth. Unfortunately, my local group of friends are big pains in the ass in regards to going out, and if we do, most of them are gone by 10pm

It's just such a poor and obvious move. I just feel it's so overused and feels so wrong :/ That's probably my problem. I am completely devoid of confidence. I have everything else, but my confidence is just well and truly shot

No, but the worst plausible outcome is they have a boyfriend who just comes in and he comes, stabs my eye out and forces me to digest it

It's just easier said than done :/ I have always been one to be able to see every possible outcome and it always makes me hesitate because I focus on the negative possibiliites. It's just making the first motion I guess...I just can't do that, and I never know what to talk about which again, isn't cliché. I can't do the whole "come here often?" "do I know you from somewhere?" etc.

So, say you're in a club or meeting a random female... WHAT THE HELL DO YOU SAY?? Do clichés like "Can I buy you a drink?" really segue into actual conversation? Was out last night and my friend was trying to help me end this everlasting dry-spell, but I just didn't know what the hell I can say. Everything seems like a MASSIVE cliché and as a crazy person, I have a habit of over analysing everything. I can see very possible outcome unfold in my head and I panic. (In crowds, walking through a busy street, my mind sees the people and automatically can tell where they're going, whether they'll stop etc. so I can navigate around them with ease) so I just freeze and that's the outcome. Every single time. What the hell is wrong with me?

Had a fair few jagerbombs tonight. My friend James came from Portsmouth with his mates for a massive night out but his mates decided to bugger off back to the hotel at 1:30ish while James and I were looking to pull so the night ended as James had their only hotel key. I R Disappoint Going to try and convince my mate to come without his mates...they're sound as hell but I just wish they'd have stayed out longer, and not just so I could get laid...but so I could get laid :P
