First part of the five part mini-series airing this week in the run up to the new series on Saturday I'll post each part since I have nothing better to do

To be fair, Nintendo maintain that their devices are for games alone. They have said they don't want their devices (consoles/handhelds) to be media centres. That is not what they want, hell it's not what the majority of the public wants as they can have all that crap on their phones now. It'd just add to costs and everything. Superfluous is the word

There is another problem, a big problem, and it's something that Sony is furthering. Many developers who are making games for portable systems are doing it so that it's essentially a home console game but on a portable. That's not what portable devices are intended for. It's no coincidence that the majority of Nintendo's top handheld games are ones which, sure, you can play in big bursts, but they're also designed so you can play for a few minutes while on a train/bus etc. Pokémon, New Super Mario Bros, Super Mario 3D Land, Professor Layton, Starfox etc. Western developers fall into this trap, as has Sony. As such, their games don't sell all that well on handheld devices andso they figure the market is dead and stop supporting. iOS games actually fall into the same category as the ones I listed, but the majority of them lack the depth of those listed. They can be played for short bursts, but a lot of the time, after the 10th go, you get bored. Plus the lack of control options (nuts to covering 50% of the screen with a simulated control pad).

The idea of a career is essentially to try and give people focus, to follow their dreams etc.

I always when there is a seatbelt. I prefer not flying forwards, breaking my face on things. My brother doesn't, even when he drives, and he drives a bit recklessly -_-
-
Yeah, western developers are being a bit idiotic and are just paying attention to the smartphone boom at the moment. However, it's not a viable business platform. So few developers manage to break even, let alone turn a profit on iOS etc. So many developers and publishers are struggling too, and this is why

I'm not exactly the most social person, as you may be able to tell from another topic here where I scored high on a specific test... There was one time I was out with my friends...a hot girl was eyeing me up, my friends tried to get me to go over...I wanted to, but I couldn't...I physically couldn't. I ended up destroying the entry bracelet we all had from it all. It's not as easy as "lol just do it" for some people

Michael Collins is the third guy :p
-
The hell he's not. To quote him "Second comes right after first". Plus, he decked a guy who accused him of faking it. They're as legendary as eachother

Considering paying for one of the sites I've signed up to...there's a couple of girls on there with similar interests and everything else matching the Joe-quotient...but gotta have paid to send/receive messages after the first (no guarantee they have it either)...bit hesitant Besides, my shyness rings through this still -_-

I put forth that the first human colony on Luna should be named after him. And the first of the next line of spacecraft NASA make.

There goes a great man.

The 3DS has at least 3 more years of life in it
-
Well in 3-5 years, or when I win the lottery, we shall find out
-
Are we certain this isn't a joke though. The bits that say it hits targets most of the time and it fires when the pilot smiles...it seems a bit sadistic :p In order to be "health and safety" compliant, it'd have to be in a seperate part of the warehouse and shooting through some sort of seperator
-
Noo...from having one :p Always have to start small...can start with one where you have a firefight where you can have say up to 30 people at once (At say £40 per person) in a firefight where they're trying to take it down. Add some sensors on it and do it via laser in order to register everything. If the craft hits a person, they can't attack for 5 minutes. Sort of like Laser Quest but more badass
-
Buy four, purchase a field/area...have live firefights...£300 per entry. Lasts an hour. Gift shop etc. PROFIT I shall do it. Only a few hundred grand away

Not allowed to smack your children these days, remember...so logically the only solution is to get them addicted to drugs -

Forgive me, I didn't mean to imply that it all is. What I meant is that it is commonplace these days that many personality quirks often get diagnosed as things and that is what I dislike. Like with ADHD as @Dannyboy\-the\-Dane mentioned. Nowadays, if you're a child and you get bored in school, they'll try and diagnose you with that -

I am fully aware of that, but even people who have been diagnosed with it who just have mild "symptoms" are classed as having a mental condition and that is something I don't agree with. -

Part of me feels that autism, aspergers etc. shouldn't necessarily be labelled as a mental condition or disability. It seems that everything that deviates from that which is designated "the norm" is classed as part of a condition these days. -
