What is it with America and gold. I got the artwork that's used for that on the press site and it looks SO much better not gold

As an idea, this is great. A budget entry-level version of the console just lacking the bit that had The Sun etc. claim caused eye cancer, which damaged the console's image in the view of parents. This is perfect as we enter the world of Pokémon X & Y. Name wise, it's absolutely and utterly horrible. Nintendo made a stupid decision by not calling it the 3DS Flat or something like that. I get why they did it, to remove the connection of 3DS and stereoscopic 3D, but it's going to cause more issues than possible. The other stuff, such as lack of a second stick is irrelevant and counter to the point of this iteration.

Well, Nintendo as a business doesn't want to haemorrhage money, so it's as good as you'll get :p

To be fair, a second circle pad would cause more issues than just having the stereoscopic 3D disabled. It'd fragment the userbase considerably

Level-5 just announced a new installment in the Professor Layton series. Layton 7 is in development for Nintendo 3DS, iOS, and Android. The game’s genre is "role play puzzle." I use the right stick...it's quicker. Though sometimes, if something isn't drawing right, I switch to gamepad...mostly for Unite Glider

Just noticed that I've spent 16 hours on this game...and I haven't even finished Operation 006 yet

Yeah, it is a fair bit of an oversight

When you do old levels and recruit those said Pokémon, hover over them and press the X button. This will prevent them from being removed as you have marked them as favourites. That's the only way to do it. They just assume you'll do that challenge as you play through

The colour is the issue. If it were a more subdued purple, then it'd be more acceptable

I am looking forward to this game, but I won't be getting it until Christmas. The sheer volume of Wii U titles that I'm getting the rest of this year is phenomenal, especially as I also have to cover XY in the interim.

It's the sort of game that really would benefit from the GamePad, so I hope so. However, due to lack of sales potential, I think an eShop game is the most likely.
