Looks absolutely glorious. Obviously an early build which explains the random spawning of soldiers and bokoblins throughout, but the graphics are sharp, gameplay looks fun...that's all I need

So what's everyone's thoughts? Downloaded it and had about half an hour on it. It's really quite good, adds some new challenges to old games and makes me realise that I suck at them. Just tried to wall-jump off a pipe when I overshot it within one of the Mario challenges. Anyone else download?

You guys are clearly dead inside. There is so much awesome in this Direct. Seriously, you ask for Nintendo to deliver. They deliver with new stuff you didn't think would exist, as well as stuff for upcoming games that we know about. So what? The games aren't out yet, they're not going to bloody ignore them just because you know they exist. What do you people actually want? Nintendo to suddenly make a Gears of War game? Use your heads.

Bombs dropped. Stuff everywhere. Shibata as Layton. Nintendo forever Are you being serious? This is the best Direct since January. So much new...

No, but they have stated that they don't think about DLC until after completion of the game and their mandate is to not develop until after completion of the game.

Nintendo will NEVER announce DLC before the game is even out. Hell, their DLC policy is firmly against that.

2014 to be the Year of Cranky Kong. Cranky Kong, due to the overwhelming fact it was trending for 24 hours after VGX, will now be added to all first party Nintendo titles on both Wii U and 3DS, along with a special edition Wii U console for $250 which comes with a modded Donkey Kong game to play as Cranky Kong (despite the fact it is meant to be Cranky Kong)

Worldwide one so it'll have Iwata for half, then Shibata for the other half for EU, Bill Trinen for NA and Iwata for Japan
