1) Was it holding an Everstone? 2) Battle Chateau can have up to Level 70s with the Black Writ of Challenge. Alternatively, I level up by going to Restaurant Le Wow, throwing a Lucky Egg on my Pokémon and using the O Power Exp Point Power Lv. 3. Gets my Pokémon up 30 or so levels in like 5 to 10 minutes. The Pokémon there are Level 63.

Well they've gone away from the 50hz stuff now. However, they don't have manual files where they're in colour since they were never in colour. Would you rather they waste time and resources pissing about to make a manual colour?

Indeed. Nintendo's output on the Wii U so far has been utterly top-notch (even if there have been droughts. There always is with first party line-ups on any console. We're just noticing it more because of lack of third party) and this seems to exceed that. I have already been questioning the gaming industry's current status at dismissing fantastic games just because of the hardware (even then I don't believe the Wii U is as bad as certain people make it out to be, sure it has issues but it's by no means bad). If Mario Kart 8 doesn't do well, then the industry has changed to something that I don't like. Anyway, on topic, I like that video, it's the small things you notice. Like with GBA Mario Circuit, as it's showing you the level, you see the big ramp bit being raised into place. Beautiful.

Very likely. With the Wii, they only had one platform to deal with, but now they have both 3DS and Wii U. I'm willing to bet Nintendo's division is handling N64 while M2 did GBA

The thing with Nintendo is that, typically (excluding Brawl), they keep the awesome and imaginative stuff under wraps until launch. However, like @RedShell said, they need to entice people now, so they're showing more of the cool stuff off beforehand. This is quite common in the industry these days.
