Took the PS4 15 weeks to reach a level it took the PS3 two years to get to, and the PS3 didn't start out well. Japan is dying, with smartphones taking over. It's quite sad.

Indeed. I brought up similar regarding my 360 and someone claimed my 360 was broken, but countless others experienced it with their 360s. These are people who claim the Wii U is worse than the 360 and PS3, let alone the newer devices.

Pic of the day. Here's a new item that we've thrown in--the boomerang. As you'd guess, it'll fly back into your hands after you throw it, and if you keep catching it, its attack power grows with each throw! However, opponents can nab the boomerang out of the air, so it might be an easier item to use in Smash Run.

Just spent the evening playing with some of my site staff, and @Mr\-Paul & @\-Dem0\- among others at various points in the evening. Also no connection errors or issues Was great fun, even though I got destroyed by items a lot :p

If it was broken, then it'd be disconnecting left, right & centre; you couldn't match up with friends or have any option in what you do; have lag up the wazoo. That's a broken online. This is not. Here you have friend lobbies, ability to set whatever you want, tournament options, ability to join friends in race, rankings etc. Yes, it would have been nice to be able to buddy up and then go on global, but I can overlook that because everything else works so well. I have no issues with the online and have spent many hours on it already.

Dear lord, don't you think you're exaggerating the issues a bit? The online isn't broken, the battle mode is proper (just doesn't have arenas) and the mini-map does exist.
