You seem to act like there is just one problem that delays a game. That is not how things work. You're being utterly ridiculous. Yeah, totally the man's fault that a game requires extra time. He does all the coding and builds all the games, and clearly doesn't do it fast enough. The swine. They should fire him. My excuses? It's the industry. That's how it is. Games get delayed. This is a fact. They don't plan for games to get delayed, but it happens. They can try their best to avoid it, but sometimes these things are unavoidable. Also, it's not the CEOs fault. What would you do in his position, just say "release it anyway"? That's how companies lose their value. To be fair, there have been a lot of online games on DS, Wii, 3DS and Wii U. They're not lying. Just because a few are not does not mean that we should ignore the countless amount that are.

I think you guys seriously downplay the strides Nintendo HAVE made.

Choose to believe what you will, but I have had less than a handful of disconnects in many hours of playing online. I have used mushrooms to gain victory. I do agree that recovery time when hit by items is ridiculous. That has cost me numerous matches.

And it has seemed fine to me. Mushrooms have given me many a victory and recovery, but that could be because I'm using them in a manner that befits this game, as opposed to the manner that befits a different game.

Yes, the problem is that people are whining that Mario Kart 8 isn't Mario Kart Wii.

I have so much fun on Mario Kart 8's online. Sorry, but I do. I feel it's masterful. I haven't spent this much time online on a Nintendo game outside of Pokémon ever.

So, while I have been using Larry lately, I shifted up to Ludwig to get an extra bit of speed, and then to Morton and holy crap that guy is fast...needs better acceleration though. Anyone notice how Morton sometimes sounds like Bobcat Goldthwait?
