Can we hear something from Coolness. I'm more tempted to vote for him than Volcom, he hasn't been around much and has still found time to post, whilst coolness is on all the time and hasn't bothered. Edit: Chair is actually my chief suspect right now.
-
Well how about we hear from both of them then compare their stories? That's the only thing we have to decide from anyway.
-
I'm not going to place a vote but that makes me very suspicious. I've played too many of these games now and I can't remember a role other than mafia that appeared false/altered when investigated. Got anything to say chair?
-
Sorry i'm checking in late, i'm just reading everything through. Three people silenced - I saw CB browsing the thread, not the other two. Chairdriver seems suspicious to me. Yesterday's events and the way he was posting - I ask someone to check him out tonight.
-
Vote:Haggis I'm interested to see how this game matures.
-
Vote:Harper I've had a bad day, taking it out.
-
Hmm, don't know if I trust chairdriver, though I don't particularly like Harper's response. Let me drink my tea and i'll take another look. Edit: How long till the end of the day?
-
Well we have a one in three chance that Harper is mafia? Hmm. I want to hear from him first, (not what he says, how). I'll give him 8 hours.

For my idea you would control the trainer, and command the pokemon to protect you, command them to perform moves to solve puzzles. So very simple example; lava pool ahead, whip your squirtle out to spray water on it, you walk across unharmed. Freaking brilliant idea. Perfect for the DS as well.
-
Problem with the ToS system as well is you are controlling the pokemon. All pokemon games should be controlled through the trainer, otherwise it is the same as any other game.
-
Puzzle/platformer. You take 12 pokemon with different abilities and do a Kameo-eque thing where you have to use their moves to progress, like using agility with Pikachu to spin a fan to open a door. Then you make it a little Ico, your character is the trainer, but one hit and he's dead, so you have to command the pokemon to guide the trainer through unharmed. Then you make it a little Four Swords and make it co-op. BAM, there's your idea.

I got nothing. Where are our investigators?

Assassins' was a pinnacle example of great ideas being left to rot without a solid game behind it to back it up. One of its main problems was Ubisoft tried to make it sandbox. They should have gone for a more Hitman like experience, level based. Scrap the entire 'information gathering' thing and take a lot more help from the Splinter Cell team (unless i'm being dense and it was the same team). What it needed most of all was another 6 months. Oh and get rid of the American accent, it ruins all the credibility.

I agree with your entire post, I honestly do. I'll be the first to admit the Wii has weaknesses and if you head over to the Wii board you'd see i'm constantly swimming against the tide (it goes the other way over there, obviously). My view is at the moment that both the PS3 and Wii are far from reaching their full potential at the moment, with the Wii edging slightly ahead, but the PS3 having a brighter future. You compare both to the 360, and the 360 storms ahead (despite having a slight lack of diversity in its genres and being very western-centric). Both need improvement. The PS3 needs something new (LBP is not enough) and the Wii needs more substantial content(why the fuck haven't we seen a 3D pokemon RPG yet? And don't give me that coliseum crap). The problem comes that with only the PS3 does it REALLY need improvement, mainly because of the sales, and that's why it will get it and why the PS3 will eventually blossom (that was gay). The Wii however, sigh, we may never get it. Nintendo can sit back now and count the money.

I took the top 10 off gamerankings, if I missed any they weren't deemed that great by the gaming press. The Wii is innovative not simply because of where it is targeted, the other consoles could simply aim at a market, it is how the Wii-mote allows games to be played intuitively, and this is what the Japanese like about it. And don't give me the crap about only casuals buying it. The sales of SSBM disprove that on its own. And IR functionality is where it is at, which will be proven when the PS4 has it. My mate's PS3 is actually fairly loud, and it's slower as well (as in loading times and the like). The Wii is expensive for what it is, but not too expensive for the market which the PS3 is.

LOL See I can be an ass too. Now try an intelligent response. SSBB, Galaxy, Prime3, Zack&Wiki, Zelda (also GC), Fire Emblem, Resi4 (significant improvement), Super Paper Mario, Okami (significant improvement) v COD4 (360), Oblivion (PC), Rock Band (360), Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, ORange box (360, PS3), Burnout (360), Resistance Those are the hardcore games, pretty open and shut, especially if you have a 360 (which I do). As for your second witty response I don't understand if you think the Japs don't respect innovation, or the PS3 is innovative. Either way your wrong.

Nothing in this game is certified. This is a different type of game. We can't play it liked we play the other ones, evidence isn't good enough. If we're going to find the baddies we can't look at what they're saying, that's not enough, we have to study how they're saying it. We've played enough games now that people have patterns, they act a certain way when they're guilty. Look at how they act, how they respond to accusations and how they make them. Do they plead under pressure or get angry? This is how the good will emerge victorious. And most important of all, don't trust anyone.

Sands of time would be one of the best of last-gen if it weren't for that awful goddamn combat system. I like the idea of duels though. Might be able to make it look like the combat system of the persian broadsword should be.

Galaxy...........

Nice, real nice, especially where it talks about moving away from that piece of crap AC. No chance of a Wii version though I guess.

What's this about Retro walkouts? -
Because, and i'm sticking my neck out there by saying this, but it hasn't got enough good games. Even the Wii has more high class hardcore games than the PS3. And it is too expensive. And it is too big. And because the Japanese respect innovation, of which the PS3 has none.
