The Dark Knight was a brilliant film, and after watching it in the cinema i was loving it. but having watched it again since, i think i prefer Batman Begins. i don't know why though, can't put my finger on it?? Think i might give them a back to back viewing sometime soon, see what i think then. Going to be watching Taken first though (got distracted from it last night).

Scolari pretty much inherited all the players he had at his disposal. I don't really understand why abramovich would bring in a manager like scolari and not give him the financial backing he made available to mourinho. They are definately missing essien, because he is solid. with him in place the team can just attack attack attack. the only real flair in the team at the moment is lampard and he can't be expected to produce everything.

Retro, give Anchorman another go sometime when you've got a group of mates round drinking or something. The first time i watched it i don't think i was in the right mood for it and wasn't very impressed myself, but i watched it again and thought it was brilliant. i've bought it on dvd since. Another good Will Ferrel film is Old School. sheer brilliance. I'm just about to watch Taken, even more hyped now

Agreed. They're hard enough games. Teams like united really don't need the extra man, we would have been shat on anyway. I just hope relegation doesn't come down to goal difference, because that decision could prove pretty costly for us with how tight the league is this season. Hopefully, we can appeal the red card because robbo is one of our few defenders who is isn't carrying an injury.

I was a little bit dissapointed with the ref's performance for west brom v united tonight. I didn't really expect anything from the game, but i'm not sure our goal difference would have taken such a battering had robbo stayed on. Heard an interesting point after the game: we got 3 players booked for dissent, yet united had none. Now I was only listening to the match, dont know if anyone here saw it? but the commentary I heard (bbc 5 live) said that united players were moaning at the ref after every decision that went our way?? is that not dissent? I think they need to give up on the respect campain if they can't get consistant refereeing.

I've been using the wiimote and chuck option for a while now, and whilst i've mainly been getting beat, im starting to get quite used to it. The huge drawback to this system is that so many advanced techniques can be pulled off soo much easier by changing the control scheme on a gamecube pad, and having specials (rather than smashes) on the c-stick. I tried to replicate this idea by putting specials on the wiimote d-pad, but this just sets every direction to neutral-B.

I don't think any game could make ocarina obsolete, simply epicness, and then theres the master quest.

My first consoles were the Snes and Mega Drive, so i'm from the same era. Its probably not going to be mean much to many but I used to love Goof Troop on the snes. The puzzels in that game were quality. Also Steet Fighter II, I still (religiously) play the champion edition on the mega drive now. Shame it looks like no Street Fighter IV on Wii
