The E3 thread to rule all other dinky little E3 threads: What are you most looking foward to at E3 on May 9th? I'm awaiting the new franchise, which has a high percentage of being an FPS (iwata said it felt more natural and precise than current gen) and metroid 3 details and screens. Not too long left now... I cant wait! It looks like Nintendo has most of the floor space this year. Obviously gonna see big things. (link below) Theres been quite a buzz just before E3 up to now as well, with the new name change, the red steel and madden details + screens which have both managed to freeze up the forums already! Also the hint of a unique racing title from reggie to round things off. I dread to think how all the game-sites will cope. But Nintendo has its competitors too. Here are some pictures to put into consideration: Sony (the PS3 controller not finalized, could sony scam nintendo once again?) Microsoft- probably wont blow us away but there will be big software announcements This is the E3 everyone will remember. End of.

The Titanic. I went to the black country museum where they made the ginormous anchor for this ship. And our guide said that the young boys who made it were 'lucky' enough to get a free ride for their good deed. I think thats a horrible story...

Sport is great. Its a fun and competitive way to socialise and something productive comes out of it. But yesterday, i saw a tiddley wink championship, darts and bowls matches on the telly. Of course these sports require skill and precision, but i dont agree that they are actually sports. Assuming that if you do sport, your a sportsman,when i vision a sporty person, i think of someone fit and physical and hardworking. Not a fat man throwing a little pointy thing at a board. Think about it. 3 wives chatting to each other, one says ' oh, my boyfriend michael jordan is such a great basketball player, he works so hard' one says 'my hubbie frank is so wonderful to watch in football for chealsea' and one says ' yeah, i have a boyfriend too, he works his heart out rolling balls down a little strip of grass' get where im coming from? obviously its good to have these things around though for a bit of fun every now and then at a pub, but a pub game! a sport? no!

Magazines are still big, though i wouldnt buy magazines for new revolution and game details. They are good because they could contain exclusive interviews, insider information, reviews and the works. All in a nice colourful package. Theres still something lacking with the internet but its hard to put your finger on it. Magazine reviews are usually funner to read as well, i loved CUBE's layout and captions with their clever comments and how they always dissed their team members . E.G 'this game is an absolute bitch, just like chandra'.

we're at gamings prime at the moment i reckon, the revolution being the first true step in making gaming something different to what it has been for a couple of decades. but all these ideas will surely run out, with nothing left to try, too many sequels, things becoming routine and people taking disinterest. inevitably one day things will come to an end with so much technology at hand that gaming is the last thing anyone would want to do. how long do you think it will survive? do you have a different opinion? share it with me. i know there have been a few of these little questions about this matter but nowhere like a central thead. and we can finally store something thats on many people minds
