This is good but confusing... I highly recommend you watch it subbed several times... It's about a girl who gets transported to the spirit realm and her parents get turned into pigs... she has to rescue them.

Well, if we look on the internets: http://runoverbythetruth.blogspot.com/2005/12/i-like-pandas.html Scroll down and look at the comments, and you should see: So there we have it, for babies at least... or not.

I'd like to try Japan, and see how I liked it... other than there, I don't think there's anywhere I'd be desperate to live.
-
It might be good, but I don't like their current choice of shows... Plus it's anime, not manga.

Some random member, I wouldn't have put them in the thread but it turns out they have a few hundred posts...

Damn, too late... oh well, here's the link. Anyway, I have yet to hear a panda make a noise.

I think so, but wouldn't know where to get it as I have the tankobans, which are available up to volume 8 in English so far. Edit: I marked that spoiler tag a bit further up incorrectly- it's only a spoiler for episodes 10 and 11.

This probably should be in creative, if it is allowed to exist.

I've been reading the death note manga, and something very disappointing happens halfway through volume 7. I think other manga readers will know what I mean...

If it's the same dubbing as in the main series, Spike's voice sounds to deep and malicious.

Rate the Above Poster's Avatar and Signature

Well then... I'll rate both of you. Zell, your sig is great, if a little big for my taste, so it gets a 9/10. Emasher, your's gets an 8.5/10... the shadows have improved it to no end, but I don't much like the colours used. Additionally, you should add the shadows to your avatar as well. -
I have a sweet potato ocarina... with a triforce on it.

Sailing at school... So nothing.

This. The rest would go on stuff to make it work on my PAL PS2.

The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess

I disagree with that- you can create very interesting atmospheres by using music that appears to have the wrong mood. Watch Mai HiME episode 15 if you don't know what I mean. In fact, I find it slightly annoying when the background music in Zelda changes when enemies are nearby... it just irritates me if I was enjoying the other music. -
Yes, I do like being on my own, provided I have something like books or anime or games to entertain me. Otherwise it can get boring.

The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess

I definitely like music in games, yet I can't (for instance) remember any of the music in SOA even though it's one of my favourite games. -

Well I'm playing the gamecube version, and in my opinion the wiimote would just make the game worse... -

I see what you mean, but very few games other than RPGs succeed in having a good story, so you can't really blame Nintendo... after all, the only game they've ever had with a proper story was Eternal Darkness as far as I know... As for music, it improves the game if you like it, but the effect is quite subtle, so unless the music is really bad, the quality of the gameplay should shine through. -

I'd agree with that, but then I don't play Zelda games for story or music... In my opinion, all Zelda games have crap stories, and the music is just something in the background that can add to the atmosphere. I did like some of the music in Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time, so I'm pleased that that's been remixed and used again, and I also like the night time Hyrule field theme... but frankly, the music isn't that important. As for difficulty, I'm only at the second dungeon, but it hasn't seemed very hard so far. Nevertheless, I love the game, for the atomosphere and fun if nothing else. -
The logic was that it fits with the other book titles if you call them The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass, then there is no odd one out. But The Golden Compass is too weak and inexact a name in my opinion...
