  1. The last two posts pretty much said what I failed to say, and did it much better than I probably could have. Hi 5 guyz.
  2. I feel like an idiot for not knowing, but what was this scandal exactly?
  3. Hahahha, that conversation did best make me laugh. Continue playing her for a fool.
  4. Although I find these threads interesting and fun, I've noticed people often, in a subtle manner, try to claim a sense of importance by declaring some form of superiority. An elitist circle jerk, if you will. Intelligent or idiotic, I don't really care. As long as they're not doing anyone any harm. And no, there's no epidemic of stupidity sweeping the country that will leave us in ruins. We're doing just fine.
  5. Now I remember why I married you.
  6. Same. They're are decent artists from every generation, and if you can't find them, you're not looking hard enough.
  7. 3 months on Friday, and we're still going strong. Early days I know, but I can't see it changing anytime soon. She's a right ledge.
  8. Ok, I'm glad it's a documentary. Hopefully this means no scripted scenes as in my opinininiinon, they took out all of the fun of Ali G in the movie.
  9. Hah, yes, it's a cube. I got bored. A slower, bigger version if anyone cares.
  10. I don't know, I think the situations are much more different. Emotions were high, and it was right in Zidane's face. He wasn't giving speeches or making rallies, he was just a guy taken over the edge. Professional? No. Understandable? Yes. I don't buy it, I think they're just saving face till Zidane speaks out himself. I don't see him doing something like that in a world cup final over a meaningless and generic insult to his mother. A racist slur would be a lot more provactive. Guess we won't know till Zidane says atleast something. Edit: Taken off the Something Awful forums: World-Zidane apparently called "dirty terrorist" PARIS, July 10 (Reuters) - France captain Zinedine Zidane was apparently called a "dirty terrorist" by Marco Materazzi before he head-butted the Italy defender in Sunday's World Cup final, the anti-racism group SOS Racism said on Monday. "According to several very well informed sources from the world of football, it would seem that the Italian player Marco Materazzi called Zinedine Zidane a 'dirty terrorist'," SOS Racism said in a statement
  11. It does seem a bit dramatic, but nevertheless it is a problem in modern day football, and it does have to go adressed.
  12. Hah, I didn't actually realise it was the Daily Mail. It was the first thing that came up on Google News.
  13. He may be perceived to be a role model, but it's not a title he's willingly undertaken. I feel sorry for people who have to live upto an image because other people set it up for them. He hasn't done his campaign justice, but oh well. I've come across plenty of sources so far, but I'm your not delivery boy. You can go find them yourself or ignore it all, I really don't care.
  14. No one said it was right. He may be a professional, but he's still human. After years of racism building up, for some guy to say it to your face, I would explode. Emotion would overcome reason and I'd let it out. It's not right, but in moments like these, it's not about what's right or wrong to the individual. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/sport/worldcup2006.html?in_article_id=394962&in_page_id=1892
  15. Yeah, after watching this: I can understand why Zidane did it. I won't condone his actions, but I would have done very much the same thing.
  16. I'm set to see it over the next few days. Can't wait. Keira Knightley or Johnny Depp? Too hard to say.
  17. I would like Jane if she didn't bitch about Aiyslene every 5 seconds. God, she's pathetic.
  18. Yeah, Jane is not in my good books. Not liking her one bit.
  19. Seconding The Thing and The Shining. The only films that sort of creeped me out.
  20. I haven't seen the Western remake, but I found the Japanese original to be terribly underwhelming and over rated. The actual video images were creepy in their absurdity, and of course, the tv scene was abit shocing, but they were the only enjoyable moments for me.
  21. The song 'Do the Whirlwind' by Architecture in Helsinki for some reason gets me in the mood, especially with the asian instruments half way through the song. So does 'It's 5' and 'Maybe you can owe me'. Basically, their album 'In Case We Die' gets me int he mood for love. Also, for the romantics, Carla Bruni's 'Quelqu'un m'a dit' is a nice song to get down to it.
  22. Deffo not.
  23. No organisation, so I'll jump the gun. Here's a 2 minute job.
  24. I don't think it does. He may well prefer the Ps3, but that doesn't necessarily mean he dislikes the Wii, he just sees them as different. Pizza is my favourite food, but I'm not gonna say no to some chips with a nice dosage of ketchup.
