Oh god I am so hyped for this game. IIRC, they are pretty fast at shipping. I am sure when I ordered Brawl, it came the week after. In fact, it took longer for the freeloader to come from the UK than Brawl did to get here from Canada! It will be nice to have someone to play in the UK, even though the netcode is apperently spot on, even cross-continent.

Just tried downloading it but for whatever reason I can't seem to add funds to my account. I don't know how much playtime it will get though, especially with Battlefield 1943 coming next week. But for £6, its worth a punt.

Did you see Sony's E3 presentation? That alone should make you want a PS3. I have a PS3 and a 360 Elite, and while the Xbox is a fantastic gaming machine, the PS3 is my preference. It might be worth holding back though for the price drop/slim model.

Wut? Its on about PS2 emulation by the PS3's Cell processor, i.e, Backwards Compatibility. No hardware needed.

Some are, some are not. It depends on the publisher, I think Warner are region locked, others don't bother. Just have to wait and see.

Wow, a 9.4/10 from IGN. I thought it would be good but not outstanding. Can't wait to get my copy next week, especially as the first run will all be the limited edition versions, complete with the Blu-Ray/DVD and music CD.

I have to admit, my 360 is built a lot better than my PS3. It also looks better in my TV stand. The PS3 is damn UGLY.

Map Pack 2 has one of the best maps I have ever played, the one with the bridge. Perfect for Search & Destroy.

An MMO style espionage action in a similar vien to The Agency would certainly grab my interest.

Are any PSWii owners gonig to get The Conduit? It might give me a reason to turn the Wii on for a few hours, especially if I can play with some Sony fanboys (You know who you are).

I made this thread ages ago, I think there is a more recent one now. Interesting about the Brand Recognition, but I don't think it will make much difference sales wise. Especially when the hype machine starts turning.

As a relatively new 360 owner, I am finding some of the older games are really cheap pre-owned.A game that has cought my eye is Battlefield 2: Modern Combat. The reviews seem to vary from average to very good. Has anybody here got/had this game? And if so, what are your thoughts?

Its amazing what a new controller can do to your 'teh skillz' My creaky old sixaxis has finally disintegrated, the L3 button has collapsed into the shell (As a direct result of CoD4). So picked up a sexy new ceramic white DS3. Don't know why I didn't upgrade months ago.

What happened to the PS3 players? When the game first came out there were aout 10-12 people on my friends list regularly playing this. Now it seems there is only me I know there has been some AAA games out since, but still, this game is timeless.
